06/8/2018 16:52 | Well it has taken MC and his team in Nicaragua quite some years to get to here and I have been with them a lot of the way. I am sure that this is the significant stage in the development of La India mine and will be seen as such by any interested parties. Good wishes to all holders. | marketeer4
06/8/2018 14:28 | Permit now granted | abbotslynn
06/8/2018 13:19 | Arguably, relative to its peer group, the stock is worth 2 quid but whether it'll attract a bid of that magnitude is questionable.Big regulatory hurdle cleared but we need an end to the conflict in Nicaragua.Tourist industry has collapsed ,not that that has any implication for a gold mining operation, but it emphasises the very unsettled nature of Nicaragua currently. | steeplejack
06/8/2018 12:38 | It is worth remembering that 7 long term shareholders hold 44% of the company all with holdings of over 5%. The largest with 7.98% is Ross Beatty who is a very serious investor in the gold business. These investors have held for events such as today and are not going to sell cheaply. They want a serious return which will be a multi bag from today's price. I would be very surprised if it went for less than £2 per share. | 888icb
06/8/2018 12:19 | TSX doesn't open today. Civic Holiday | rayong
06/8/2018 11:12 | The volume is still low at less than 600000. This is quite tightly held so if someone wants a large number then this will move higher pretty quickly. Lets see how the rest of the day goes. It will be interesting to see if this finally gets the attention of Canadian investors when the TSX opens. | 888icb
06/8/2018 09:33 | Has a way to go but instabilities remain in Nicuragua. By the time developments are moving here with another mine closeby expect gold to be moving to its real value too. 100-200p not impossible. | edjge2
06/8/2018 09:28 | bought a few for fun (day off). took 20 mins to fill £575 order. cant be many available. | thelongandtheshortandthetall
06/8/2018 08:28 | Great achievement anyone who got some at 33p, multibagger arriving.Brave rewards. | edjge2
06/8/2018 08:25 | Well there you go, price walked down then some news and a tidy profit, G&T's all round at the market makers ;-) | spikesnr
06/8/2018 08:18 | Top of the leader board UP over 10% and rising. | 888icb
06/8/2018 07:56 | A bid or 2 would be nice on the back of this permit. | 888icb
06/8/2018 07:52 | Still a lot of work to do and extended timeline but we are now (hopefully) on the way- $64M question - What should be the value of CNR now? | pugugly
06/8/2018 07:47 | This should be quite a day for Condor! | 888icb
06/8/2018 07:04 | FINALLY :) 6 August 2018 Condor Gold plc ("Condor", "Condor Gold" or the "Company") CONDOR GOLD RECEIVES ENVIRONMENTAL PERMIT TO CONSTRUCT AND OPERATE A NEW MINE AT LA INDIA PROJECT, NICARAGUA Condor Gold (AIM: CNR; OTCQX: CNFGF; TSX: COG) is pleased to announce that it has received an environmental permit for the development, construction and operation of a processing plant with a capacity of up to 2,800 tonnes per day ("tpd") and associated mine site infrastructure at its wholly-owned La India Gold Project, located in the Department of Leon, Nicaragua. | temujiin
01/8/2018 15:52 | Canada will have an impact but only when we have a more positive story. The start of that ought to be 'permits issued'...... and with a little luck a more stable Nicaragua. | sir andrew ffoulkes
31/7/2018 11:48 | Canada is where many smaller goldies are and it keeps us at the party for the next stage of CGH's evolution, imo | rhuvaal2
31/7/2018 00:02 | Condor has gone up 18% today in Canada on a volume of 500! The current Canadian price of 0.72 equates to 42p so slightly ahead of today’s 39.5p. Not of any significance but it does make me reflect that the Canadian listing seems to have had no effect on the share price as there seems little interest there judging by the tiny volumes. | 888icb
25/7/2018 13:14 | Spike, I agree, I know someone who is very familiar with the politics there, and she is very disappointed at the recent turn of events, as she was previously an Ortega supporter, and a strong one too. | andy
25/7/2018 12:34 | Yes picked that up on the news, not sure how that will all play out but it probably precludes any major progress in the short term | spikesnr
25/7/2018 11:49 | spike, Not sure where you get that from. Political troubles persist in Nicaragua, Ortega is now seen to be proposing steps he previously opposed when a Sandinista, and the people are not amused. The protests persist apparently. | andy
24/7/2018 16:36 | Selling usually a prelude to an uptick or is that just my perception of the history? | spikesnr
20/7/2018 21:05 | Nicaragua's Ortega, battling protests, calls for peace on anniversary "You all are the defenders of peace ... We have to re-establish order in our country," said Ortega. The violence marks the most severe crisis to face the 72-year-old socialist since the civil war of the 1980s. Published 10 Hours Ago | pugugly
19/7/2018 09:52 | Thanks vid goeawol. Agree 888ICB clearer picture now and CEO seems to be honest. So will hold these out. Hope the gold blow does not predate them too much. May be taken out as gopld deposite quite high grade, listed in Toronto that is hot on metals. Also seems Nicaragua is laying into protestors but may exacerbate violence At least action being taken. Suspect Nics want permit for employment and future taxes. | edjge2
19/7/2018 00:19 | Just finished watching the video which gives a clear picture of where we are and where we are about to go. The permit is imminent in the next few weeks. When the permit is issued the share should rerate to reflect the value of the gold in the ground which is in the region of 6.5x the current market cap of £28 Million. 42p x 6= £2.52. There is a lot of upside and let’s not forget this has been over £2 on 2 previous occasions. We know there is a lot more gold so the long term value is much higher. The permit may well attract a bidder or two which could really speed up the recovery of the share price and it would need to be north of £2. Fingered crossed for an early permit. | 888icb |
