Yes people do seem to have a theory that because a mining conference is coming up, there will be some earth shattering announcement made to accommodate the event. MC was at PDAC last year, so people can search to see if there is a precedent.

PDAC is always the first few days of March, so a check can be made for preceding years.

And yes you are correct, apart from your posts, all the others today so far are filtered!

I'm not worried if the permit is granted before or after PDAC. For those who were hoping for news before, there is still time, MC is not presenting until Monday.

It's already 10.00 am on Friday, so, as they don't normally announce at the weekend, he hasn't got much time left!

I am aware of the 5 hour time difference with Toronto, so Monday morning is still possible, but generally companies can't time news releases to coincide with conference presentations, and neither should they.

Vast majority of trades yesterday were sells. Some were delayed to make it look like buys and then today the mms move it up on nothing. Seems it is being setup to drop quickly as no permit before pdac and placing due. It will all end in tears with people buying too high
