18/7/2007 12:57 | All the posts above are in my view, I am not God.Looks as if others can see what a great little company this could turn out to be.The new FD, would in my view, want to start out, to be seen as 100% above board.Profit is what we want, and that will push the shares higher. We still have a value of under 5M pounds, pointing to a £500,000 profit for a full year [07-08.]As i am looking at twice that, and more, we have a long way for the shares to go.Looking back i see cash was raised at 10p a share, at the time punters who bought ,must have been looking for a return of at least 20p per share. | torabora
18/7/2007 12:47 | Brando69, If I told you my holding in NTA, I would also be telling the market, that would not be a smart move, in my view. | torabora
18/7/2007 12:43 | tora - with respect - why is it you are happy to ramp up conder by talking about your investments on the nta board, but refuse to answer questions re your holding in nta? | brando69
18/7/2007 12:02 | Well, nice timing if I say it myself :-) Back to 20p hopefully - wish I'd noticed the new FD a bit sooner. CR | cockneyrebel
18/7/2007 10:33 | Well up the leader board :-) CR | cockneyrebel
18/7/2007 10:19 | Have been buying the past few days - new FD, directors buying loads and saying they will be back in profit all looks good. Murder to buy any decent volume tho. CR | cockneyrebel
18/7/2007 10:19 | chelverton growth trust bought in a few weeks ago at around 5p.i should have purchased then but didn't have the confidence.still a good sign. they also pur.genc.any views. | geologic
18/7/2007 09:07 | TB...suspect you are right on this one.A new incoming entrepreneur would really accelerate the whole process. This is a cracking shell and if discredited old management are confident enough to buy, just think what a bit of charisma would do! | trustman
18/7/2007 06:23 | What tends to happen, is this, They [the company], know, that to start the ball rolling the results, HAVE, to please. I point out, that, the past is not good. This is why the shares are so cheap. They stated in Jan 07, that, [in my words], most of the first half loss will be clawed back in the second half. If this is the outcome, one should in my view , be buying shed loads. I must also point out, that i have done very well, with other shares that have been in the dog house. Why have the directors just bought in ?????. Well in my view they know far more than me , you , or the city. | torabora
18/7/2007 05:34 | Conder Environmental PLC 20 June 2006 CONDER ENVIRONMENTAL PLC - 20 JUNE 2006 TRADING STATEMENT Summary Further to the announcements made on 10 & 23 March, the Group is now expected to have made a loss for the year ended 30 April 2006 in the order of #3 million, subject to the outcome of events described below. This is wholly as a result of the losses incurred by Hydroserve, in providing repair and maintenance of the clean water mains distribution system. Hydroserve is being placed into Administration today. This decision has not been taken lightly but was considered to be the only way to safeguard the remainder of the Group. In the year ended 30 April 2006, Conder Products and Vikoma produced unaudited profits in the order of #500,000 and #250,000 respectively, before Group costs. Hydroserve - Results Internal investigations led to the discovery of accounting irregularities, which were reported on 10 March 2006. The Board appointed independent accountants PKF to undertake a review of the findings of the internal investigation. PKF's review has confirmed that the management accounting information of Hydroserve was materially mis-stated from May 2005. Cumulatively to 31 December 2005, Hydroserve revenues had been overstated by #569,000. Internal investigations showed that in the same period costs were also understated by #463,000, giving a total mis-statement of #1,032,000. .................... 18/7/2007 05:22 | Torabora, You've pretty much said all that needs to be said in your header: "looking at the past will stop you buying them," When there are substantial question marks over management statements and activity in the past then you have to treat their forward statements with some caution, IMO. Good luck with them though. A link to my old thread might help new punters to do do their due diligence.....? G. | garth
17/7/2007 18:38 | The shares need to rise above 10p, for the directors options, to have any value. The stock will jump on the full year results, if a good part of the first half loss is recovered.I am looking for around 500,000 profit in the second half of last year. The market will then come to the view that this years profit should come in over one million pounds. In effect the big rise in the shares will be in the next few weeks, as punters cotton on, to this growth stock. All above is in my view,as i can not find any profit forecast for the company. | torabora
17/7/2007 10:10 | My view is, as with other cheap stocks , buy when the bad news is in the price. Look up not down, [hard for a investor who has been in this stock a long time.]They have cut costs, and, as far as i can see the have very low or no borrowings. The Conder side has done well in the past, so just cutting out the fat should get the show on the road. At this level a bid is also on the cards. | torabora
17/7/2007 10:00 | They're cheap for a reason - still got a lot to prove. | philjeans
17/7/2007 08:04 | As with all great shares, a slow start on this new thread. | torabora
16/7/2007 16:20 | This share is, in my view far to cheap. As with all my stock picks, looking at the past will stop you buying them, However, as with FAN, at 30p, [now 115p] and NTA at 2p [now 56p], one should be able to make large profits, over time.Todays market cap is 3M pounds, and my target is 10M pounds plus. So, how come this is so cheap.?Well for a start they lost £760,000 in the first half, enough to scare off off most punters, add that, to the fact that part of the company was put into administration 13 months ago.!!!!. Next the good news, under outlook, in the interims.THE GROUP SHOULD HAVE RECOVERED A SIGNIFICANT PROPORTION OF THE FIRST HALF LOSS BY THE YEAR END,AND BE CASH GENERATIVE IN THE SECOND HALF.THE BOARD EXPECTS THAT THE GROUP WILL BE BOTH PROFITABLE AND CASH GENERATIVE IN 2007-2008. More good news is the directors buying prior to the full year results, and the two Million cash that came from the sale of another lump of the company in Jan this year. What is left, could in my view, make over 1M pounds in a full year. With no tax to pay for a year or two, on a low pe of 10, we are looking at a stock price of around 20p in a growing market. | torabora
