23/5/2006 21:39 | So Liontrust decreased on the 17th and bought back in on the 22nd. Nice bit of trading! Article in the Growth Company Investor with a buy rec: Nothing new here, just comforting to have your own thoughts reaffirmed. Only negative point is the effect of the forex on the earnings given that US seems to be CNC's biggest market. Despite this, still looks extremely attractive to me. | yags
22/5/2006 14:23 | More good news today - I have been adding. Liontrust Holdings has increased its notifiable interest to 10,231,339 Ordinary shares (14.07%). Concurrent Technologies said today it is to launch the additional range of single board computers supporting Intel processors, called VP 337/02. The group said the new computer products have been developed to suit a variety of applications including those within harsher environments found in defence and industrial markets. The group said the VP 337/02 products expect to be ordered by customers involved in extreme temperature and humidity operations such as the military, aerospace or scientific sectors. In addition, Concurrent said it anticipates demand in the areas of telecoms, telemetry and industrial control - indeed any application where temperatures could be as low as minus 40C or as high as 85C. The products incorporate many advanced features to enable them to operate in harsh conditions without affecting their functionality and support many of today's leading operating systems. Glen Fawcett, managing director, said:"We have been moving steadily into the wide temperature marketplace over the past few years. This range of boards not only strengthens our product offering for our markeplace, but also offers users of our older products a very easy upgrade path to newer technology as well to an environmentally compliant product." He added:"Our customers already recognise Concurrent as providing the best products for their needs and we are in no doubt that our new range will help drive growth into fresh customer areas." -0- ICV Edited News from Dow Jones 0937 GMT May 22 2006 | tp100

28/4/2006 07:16 | Concurrent Technologies Plc AGM Statement At today's Annual General Meeting of Concurrent Technologies Plc which manufactures high end embedded computer products for critical applications in the defence, transportation, communications and industrial markets, Michael Collins, Chairman, will make the following statement: "The results for the last year were extremely pleasing and I am happy to confirm that this good progress has continued into the new financial year. Our first quarter sales for the current year have been encouraging and because gross margins for this period were ahead of budget and expenses were lower than budget, the trading performance to the end of March 2006 was substantially better than that achieved in the same period last year." "It is becoming clear that we are witnessing a levelling of customer demand across the calendar quarters; traditionally the first quarter has been our quietest period. This change is important and serves to improve the quality of Concurrent Technologies' business as a manageable entity; planning and scheduling are more straightforward and the business cycle shows more predictability. Prospects for the remainder of the first half of 2006 and for the rest of this year are good." 28 April 2006 | dealit |
