               Annual General Meeting held
                on Thursday 27 July 2000

Henderson Technology Trust PLC announces that at the
Annual General Meeting held earlier today, the following
resolutions were duly passed:


(i)  that the directors be given the authority to allot
     relevant securities in the Company up to an
     aggregate nominal amount of #12,308,550;

(ii) that the directors be given the authority to allot
     equity securities for cash up to an aggregate
     nominal amount of #1,846,282;

(iii)     that the Company be generally authorised to
     make market purchases of its own ordinary shares up
     to a maximum amount of 22,140,620.
