I'm glad they've weathered the last 5 years since I last commented here :) Too small to attract any attention, the whole sector is short on fans compared to the period before Patisserie Valerie collapsed and wiped out the over-optimism that'd ruled up to that point. I think this one will be a survivor/get taken out by a bigger group, in due course. Wouldn't chase the price today.

The £33m in revenue? doesn't sound very unloved to me. Yes there is a margin problem as of 2015 but that's a different issue.

So far not wrong.

This is the kind of restaurant that people love.. the ultimate antidote to CoVID.

The UK casual dining scene is clearly not the same as where it was pre 2016. However, bear in mind back in 2015/2016 they sustained an £80M valuation. They have doubled their annual revenues since then, and are valued at £12M. If margins improve even the slightest amount such that this revenue now feeds through to the bottom line (competitors closing up shop etc), I think you could see the market cap multiply substantially.

That idea hasn't worked too well since 2016 though.

@glavey - they consistently generate operating cash flows though, and as such can use that to re-invest into opening more restaurants. All it takes is margins to improve a little (as they were pre 2015) and they're making £2-3M a year easy imo.

Onwards & upwards here, indoor dining on day, turnover up substantially.

This is going the same way as (RNO) UP&AWAY!

Might be because it doesn't make any money.
