14/11/2006 09:08 | as the announced deal will give them enough funds to last for about another 4-1/2 months then let's see what additional deals they can pull out of the hat between now and then.... they still need 'something' extra presume spread will remain high (especially the bid price remaining low) until longer term finances assured .... | don muang
14/11/2006 08:14 | seems to answer the Bristol Council question..... | don muang
14/11/2006 08:11 | Funding at last. Risk profile now greatly reduced. | spiv 1
19/9/2006 16:12 | Lets hope \so Don. That one is pivotal and a positive rns should see these well north of 30p. | spiv 1
19/9/2006 15:04 | will it be a deal finally signed with Bristol Council as regards using the second compacter ? | don muang
19/9/2006 13:21 | Sp ticking up today and yesterday. How much do you want to bet there will be an rns in the next few days? | spiv 1
31/7/2006 16:28 | Just noticed a nice write up on CPO in last weeks Shares magazine. Mentions JV with Qinetiq and says that future for the co looks very promising. | spiv 1
30/6/2006 10:57 | Just bought some more. Have a chat with Richard Hogg the Business Devt Manager at CPO if you want to get an update on the various contracts. Very bullish. | spiv 1
25/6/2006 10:10 | Company definitely building momentum. Now need profits to follow through. | ramnik007
23/6/2006 15:38 | Yep it was a bit unclear Don I admit. I'm assuming that they have the contract and that it was just badly worded. As far as I know they have been tendering for the ship contract for ages. The wording below certainly implies its a done deal. Perhaps a call is needed though to clarify this. Nic Cooper Compact Power Chairman comments: "The successful development of the small-scale plant with QinetiQ has been a great success that has been in no small part due to the complimentary skills of the two companies. I am delighted that we are now building on this partnership to supply and fit the plant for HMS Ocean, and hope that this is the start of successful marketing of this system." Compact Power has completed work on designing a land based version of this plant that will have other potential military applications and provide on site waste processing for organisations such as hospitals. QinetiQ Business Development Manager, Ian Grant commented: "We are very pleased to be working with Compact Power on the development of Pyrolysis technology for the Royal Navy's future waste management support initiative. The technology will make the Royal Navy compliant with MARPOL legislation and reduce the day to day drudgery of the ships' crew. The system also has the potential to produce combined heat and power which in turn could reduce the overall fuel bill for the Royal Navy." | spiv 1
23/6/2006 13:58 | Don't wish to being seen to 'deramp' - but I'm a born pessimist (glass half empty etc).... but as far as I can see the last RNS was announcing they were going to tender - therefore no guarantee they'll get the order. Also, as mentioned earlier in the thread, there still seems no announcement concerning a new contract from Bristol Council to use the larger facility being built. | don muang
22/6/2006 12:15 | Just read the rns again and noticed that cpo have also developed a way of using this facility on land which can be used in eg military hospitals. The scope is huge here and all this with a company valued at less than £10m!! | spiv 1
22/6/2006 08:10 | Good news again and this time the share price does move! If this is successful, think what the market could be for on ship pyrolysis. Interesting the share price was moving up a few days before this rns. Leaky news as usual! | spiv 1
12/6/2006 09:18 | Very punchy board appoitment. No movement in the share price but more good news nevertheless. | spiv 1

30/5/2006 11:55 | You're right,up to now we have only good news but...for the share to move we need something more then that, more contract news. This one will take a little longer but will deliver the goods in the end. | k38
26/5/2006 07:27 | Might be being thick but this looks like good news. Cooper have been happy to take shares at way above market price rather than expect the loan to be payed back. What's that saying about their belief in CPO. Not sure why the mms have marked this down as it further improves the financial situation of cpo (yes some dilution but market cap is tiny anyway) and further endorses the faith two large institutions have in the business model. | spiv 1
23/5/2006 14:58 | Not quite yet ... as the equity markets are still a little too volatile for my liking.... But it'll remain towards the top of my watchlist. | krishall
23/5/2006 13:09 | Go on boys, be brave!! The contrarian always makes the real money. If you wait for an rns you'll end up paying nearer 30p. Remember the market cap is absolutley tiny at the moment; £7m to be precise. Worse case scenario it'll drop a bit further (a few pence maybe) best case scenario we get postive rns' over the next few months and you'll make 10p a share from this price (minimum). There are/were a lot of stale bulls in this stock, hence the fall in the share price over the last few weeks (plus general market collapse). So, have I pursuaded you yet?? | spiv 1 |
