11/1/2017 12:32 | spot on - and one reason why I cannot fathom the current SP the only other downside to me is an 'old negative reputation' in the city but even they will eventually spot a good price when its staring them in the face | joe say
11/1/2017 11:52 | This is from a note given on BT today but might well apply here also:- 'As far as yields are concerned, it noted AA UK corporate bond yields have bounced from a low of less than 2% in early September to 2.7% currently, which is positive for BT's pension due to a lower present value of liabilities.' | isis
10/1/2017 09:52 | With isis on this one - but value should out How on earth is this not trading at least 15p ahead of the current price? | joe say
10/1/2017 09:25 | Could have a Trading Update next week - if not then we should have one the week after. Last 4 years have been as follows - 16/01/13 15/01/14 19/01/15 21/01/16 | gleach23

05/1/2017 14:29 | Still find the share price here incredibly low given all the information and contracts we have. Makes no sense. | isis
05/1/2017 08:00 | o/t Mattjos, thanks. Having had a few probs with advfn charts, I am looking at alternatives. What do you use? | bamboo2
04/1/2017 23:56 | Actually, I prefer daily 13,48.5 EMA but, fractional EMA's sadly not available on ADVFN | mattjos
04/1/2017 23:54 | Bamboo, try watching EMA 13,49 for short term & Weekly EMA 30 for longer.Short term, have been and gone here for a quick turn but, still very much focussed on longer term. There is an opportunity developing, imo | mattjos
04/1/2017 22:41 | Good luck. Hopefully it will bounce, the fundamentals are ridiculous value and pension deficits are all on the decline with rising interest rates. As a fundamentalist, I am quite happy with my holding here... | edmundshaw
04/1/2017 16:01 | edmund, no problem! Silly thing is, I had doubts and expressed them at the time I bought, as there were two potential turns I had identified, very close to one another. I made the mistake of treating them as one, which had worked for me before... Will probably wait now to see the back of the Double Bottom before getting involved again! I work better in an uptrend. | bamboo2
04/1/2017 14:44 | Thanks you for your refreshing candour bamboo! | edmundshaw
04/1/2017 11:12 | I recognised that I had got the direction of the earlier price turn wrong and therefore my trade was a mistake so I sold out for a four percent loss this morning. A relatively small position thankfully. There is another potential turn [6th Jan] at the end of the week! It could easily turn back up. This is the second cms trade out of five [in quite a few years] I have got wrong, my record here is not good, so maybe take my posts with a pinch of salt. | bamboo2
04/1/2017 10:50 | Trading volumes have been light since the Christmas holidays and running at half the average daily volumes over the previous few months. | masurenguy
04/1/2017 10:46 | I hope you are right Nick! Tempted to go in (again!) under 40p. | dahhad
04/1/2017 08:34 | I think yesterdays activity was perhaps the mm's taking out stop losses and accumulating stock? Bonds Yields have zoomed up since last pension review, so it will show a dramatic turn around. I don't know how they work these things out but the Bond Yields on 10 yer gilts has approx doubled since and that's a major factor in valuation reporting. | nick rubens
03/1/2017 19:28 | BOD holdings in CMS appear very modest to me. | essentialinvestor
03/1/2017 17:42 | And a happy new year to all! Hopefully today's movement doesn't set the trend for the year!? | dahhad
30/12/2016 08:17 | Plus positive news on the pension deficit (or at least less negative news than expected so to speak) | joe say
29/12/2016 16:34 | I hope so bamboo2, I increased my holdings here today, wanted a larger holding before the next trading update which is normally released in the third week of January. After years of investment and a very impressive client list, if they succeed with their stated aim of improving the bottom line and reducing debt levels, then we should see a decent rerating here imo. | interceptor2
29/12/2016 16:27 | Bought some of these today. Should be a turn in the price over next two sessions. Hope I've got the direction right. | bamboo2
23/12/2016 14:43 | The wrong Bid Price of 36p is being shown on your screen against the closing Offer Price of 43.75p. That would represent a spread of 7.75p ! Last Sell today was @43.08 and the last Buy just before the close was @44.0p. IG have a closing spread of 1.1p with Sell @42.89 and Buy @43.99. | masurenguy
23/12/2016 14:11 | sorry - must be my screen - showing a price of 36, I guess it will right itself. | mobtheplod
23/12/2016 14:00 | mobtheplod - Closed at 42.75/43 yesterday and 43/44 today with UT 44 so don't understand your post. | sharw
23/12/2016 13:57 | what drop? | dahhad |
