01/4/2018 17:55 | Think we'll hear about the smaller deal next week but, if no ops update, Friday's volume could be extra massive as new ISA monies triggered in advance of what should prove to be highly satisfactory Q1 progress. That, together with 'mapping 12 x 20/400mmbbl' and 'inorganic m&a, material investors lined up to make a multiple of current mkt cap activity' surely make Columbus a tremendously exciting investment - certainly no lack of speed travelling along Leo's road map! | carpadium
01/4/2018 13:45 | What a pleasure to see reasoned debate on here . LK has a credibility in the oil sector which is of massive benefit to us going forward. The avoidance of further share holder dilution is ‘music to one’s ears ‘ . | ccr1958
31/3/2018 21:54 | I don’t think Shell’s onshore assets would be regarded as being in the “oil Kitchen”! | garnhiem80
31/3/2018 21:29 | ross, you are right. I spoke to Gordon Stein recently, who confirmed that CERP would never do a deal that wasn't value accretive to shareholders. When I mentioned an increased number of shares in the company, he said that there were more ways of raising money than by issuing shares. So yes, we now have a luxury that wasn't available to the previous management. | the guardian
31/3/2018 20:35 | I read last week that a Range Resources company were supplying a rig for an onshore well for Shell in Trinidad. I have to admit that I hadn't realised Shell still had production onshore Trinidad. With Shell selling off lots of assets to reduce debt, I wonder if their onshore Trinidad production assets are available for a bag of Guilders. (OK, Euros). | hpotter

31/3/2018 14:27 | Ross, I believe that partner is already a work in progress but get the feeling those planned well deepening operations are key to progressing to full blown drilling partner | h van der h
31/3/2018 14:17 | Activity outside of TT not likely until swp is well on its way to fruition imo. Spain tender may well hold up the search for new ventures, at least until that is sorted one way or another. Who knows that could provide funds for pastures new, or even become that new asset, or on a free ride with new partner. All speculation. The only way I could see expansion atm is via a caretaker/farmout role over some of petrotrins abundance of virtually dormant fields. Prove up SWP first, then the big game changing partner comes in. Afternoon All, by the way. | h van der h
31/3/2018 13:44 | It does seem premature to be looking elsewhere when the swp is expected to be so lucrative. However, if the result of the ' big' acquisition is that the share price increases by multiples, then bring it on thank you very much. | the guardian
31/3/2018 12:38 | Totally agree Ross on speculation.. hence the term “window shopping”.. Leo must have an idea what he likes in South America! The end game was always SWP.. that goal post may now have moved! | garnhiem80

29/3/2018 20:36 | Keiwi - didn't keep up with why you are on the naughty step but if Rosie can be readmitted with his baggage and ability to create disharmony there's hope for you! Can't agree about the Cop Out - he appears to rns where necessary but prefers the media presentations to keep up interest and he seems to enjoy a good tease. So far he hasn't been found to be blatantly misleading - a few gullible people like Rosie got a bit carried with his Spanish stance at the launch but clearly he hadn't considered all the scenarios at that time. Production figs will be a good test. | arrynillson
29/3/2018 19:26 | ...regarding LEO... I like the guy, what I don't like is the hiding behind, 'Oh I don't like Rns's', 'I've better things to do basically'. Having traded successfully for many years, this IS A COP OUT!! as far as I am concerned. Most other companies are very happy to let holders know how they are doing.....'GOOD or BAD' A thing that Ms Teresa May seems very much not liking to do having done so many about turns. Be Careful LEO :) you DO NOT WANT to be Labeled another Teresa LOL. Course the top boys on the site are probably afraid to hear this sort of truth LOL | keiwi |
