Thanks Offerman for that.
For me the “Acid Test” was Leo’s answer to Q4.
That, for me at least, is a good enough reason to be a “LTH” here.
Thanks again Offerman.

I agree Nash, all sorts of speculation about yields and interest rate issues, the drop in the UK markets started on the 3rd Oct by my analysis (have been watching very closely for approx. 1 month prior) and there have been forecasts that we will continue on a downward slide for some time, BUT I'm happy to buy at this level, even if we see more drops over the next month or so, it's actually normal and expected for the time of year, so many short term investors take as much profit as they can before Xmas and that always has a negative impact on prices. I've been stockpiling over the Xmas period for years and have always see a return to positive levels by Feb. There will be more fluctuations IMHO but that's what happens in markets, we all actually rely upon it happening don't we? We want stocks to go down so that we can buy them low and sell them high, it's the nature of trading.

Good luck and as soon as I can dilute some of my other assets I will be getting as many of these as possible ready for the upturn and happy to wait for months to draw some good old profit. :P

Offer,

Great post fella! Agreed chaps when you look back at where LK started, he's pretty much cleared the debt, significantly reduced overheads and got production from 300bopd is to just under 900bopd just last month. Reserves are also now around 17-18mmbbls 2P up from over 11mmbbls. Dilution has been pretty minimal/acceptable. The strategy of quarterly updates on production has caused the decline in part as some think oh no more news for months. That's a dangerous strategy and the market is weak at present too which adds more pressure. LK likes to pull a rabbit out now and again.

But these are looking seriously cheap based on the current growing production and reserves. That's clearly not why many of us bought these though, its LK and team's ability to do deals. Bonasse tidied up, Icacos almost complete and SD now complete and that's the start not the end. Also good to hear LK's view on the $500m target, why stop there. There's the potential of the SWP as well as the multiple M&A deals in the pipeline. Those buying now imo will be well in the money over the next 12 to 18 months. Its good that they're going to target the shallower targets in the SWP, target the lower hanging fruit first. It'll be interesting to see what they get from deepening the Icacos and Bonasse wells, they'll be much cheaper than drilling from scratch. Untapped pay there may add to the recoverable reserves as well as production.

Also even when FARC were active in Colombia there wasn't that much disruption to the oilfields. Even the smaller companies operated there, Emerald, Petrolatina, Global Energy. The odd pipeline attack but it didn't stop the big fellas from making a lot of money. And its a lot more peaceful these days and they offer good ecomonic terms for oil production, its much more lucrative than T&T. Hopefully LK has his eye on some mature Shell assets. At least we'll have better terms for a large SWP discovery than for the IPSC stuff.

Regards,
Ed.

I apologise if I got the wrong end of the stick there. I see what you mean and yes you're right the positive nature of the company and works going doesn't explain why the share price is sliding so much. I think there's just been a lot of sellers over the last 7 to 8 months I know big MJ topped up a lot but the sells far outnumbered the buys imho over this time period. There will also be a huge amount of investors in from 2p days probably offloading taking profit something creating a large overhang But I do believe when we get material news of M&A and also the continual improvement of bopd and also all the additional licenses from the three acquisitions with a little bit more exploration within a couple of those and many workovers rejuvenation's should provide short-term success too.

Offerman, you entirely miss the point. What I'm saying is the continual implied positive slant does not provide any tangible insight into explaining the ongoing decline in the share price I stress, ongoing decline in the share price

Going forward, most opinion is based on hope value. Furthermore, I can express a view, even it it's one you are not comfortable with. That's why we have discussion boards, for discussion. I have merely made the comment that the price just spirals downwards, which is not a subjective opinion. Nor have I have expressed a view about where the share price be.

Look at the figures , deals, production and yes characters , no blocking backstabbing egos in this company . Great team. Look at where we were 1.5 years ago then look at the licence areas we have now in the Cedros area. Look at the huge prospects we have on top of the top up licences. If you think it's bad farmer don't look at it or invest. If you're invested then sell if you see no future here and can't see what's already been done to date.

Nice one offer and thanks for your report. Don't live in the SW by any chance?

Look forward to seeing the revised road map although suspect it's more of a timetable change as opposed to itinerary.

Offerman,
Thank you for your write up. I too have met Leo on a previous occasion, and was impressed with his down to earth approach and openness.
I am invested here for the long term and feel that with an experienced and accomplished BOD, patience will be rewarded.

Hope value and positive character references have no value, the bottom line is the share price based on outlook. As previously noted, the volume of postings on this thread is inversely proportional to the sp, which has been on a continuous downward spiral. How about no more observations until a tangible turnaround in the sp? There is other stuff out there.

MM games. There's no mass offloading of stock, and no adverse sentiment, which you wouldn't expect as it's clear that LK and the team are turning this company around. Just the usual - MMs taking advantage during the process of transfer of wealth from the impatient to the patient, as some were banking on the quarterly update/presentation being accompanied by a blockbuster RNS.

I'm as eager as the next man for the re-rate to come, and the next piece of news that could be the catalyst for this, but patience will be rewarded IMO, and I expect those with deep pockets to hoover up stock at these crazy prices.
