Basically CERP/LGO has been pumped up on hot air and there are quite a few T20s out there that will have to sell regardless of price imo. This selling will drive the share price down far,fast,imo.

Oil price
The oil price rose again reaching levels last seen on 6th of June but Brent also hitting the big figure obstacle which it has struggled to break through in recent attempts. The EIA inventory stats were mainly full of good news, the crude draw of 4.7m barrels was 1.2m more than forecasts while gasoline drew 4.4m against expectations of only 0.7m, and distillates fell 2.1m against a consensus rise of 1.2m. The products crack spread was at its highest since November 2016 meaning that refining margins are very healthy at the moment.

The only fly in the EIA’s ointment was the US production number which at 9.43m b/d was at a level not seen since July 2015. It is an important few days, Monday sees the Opec/Non-Opec meeting in St Petersburg at which some industry commentators feel that more action might happen although robust comments from Libya overnight indicate bringing them or Nigeria into the fold may be hard work.

You have to question Koots judgement for deciding to take on the job of managing junk.

I suspect Koots has a massive ego problem and thinks he can turn water into oil.

It will take months to get that water flooding pilot up and running and at the end of the day no one really knows whether or not it will be successful.

I met with Leo Koot, CEO of Columbus Energy Resources yesterday for a general round up as it is a little while since he started and clearly he and his management team are making significant progress in upgrading the portfolio and assessing best opportunities. CERP is definitely one for the watch list as I am very impressed by Mr Koot and of course his new team here and on the ground in Trinidad

Oil Prices Leap Higher After Draw In Crude Inventories

The Energy Information Administration offered jittery oil markets respite today by reporting a draw of 4.7 million barrels in U.S. commercial oil inventories. The report comes just one day after the American Petroleum Institute reported a build in inventories, estimated at 1.628 million barrels, versus expectations of a draw of 3 million barrels...

Quite big drop today on very little volume!!!////// After a pump n dump rise on little more than hype this was to be expected. There will be quite a few traders on T20s that will be forced to sell soon imo and the MMs will drop the bid far fast on the selling.BEWARE,the volume tells its own story.

The volumes always tell the real story. They have dropped off a cliff and this is usually followed by the share price dropping fast. Why am I not surprised? This has been hyped up far too far imo and what has changed,just the chairman. Has new oil been found? NO. Has Cerp got more reserves suddenly? NO,just the same as when NR was in the driving seat and these reserves were around when the share price fell from over 6p to 0.12p! Has Cerp risen on hype and pie in the sky wishful thinking numbers? YES! Is Cerp over-priced? YES,imo. Will Koot raise more cash soon via dilution? YES,imo. Another discounted placing or Seda tap deal is highly likely,all imo.///// I feel a TIMNERRRRRRRRRRrrrrrrrrrr coming on here.

The new team, CEO Leo Koot and CFO Gordon Stein, with an experienced Trinidad MD are identifying best ways to increase production and raise cash flow from existing resources. Initiatives announced today should raise production by implementing a multi-interval approach to the Goudron Field water-injection starting this quarter.

The short term goal is to become cashflow positive by the 4th quarter of this year and to grow strongly in future, the team is assembled, watch this space."
