Bargain hunters out in force again today. I wonder if LK's first well pair will be to the Mayaro or the C sands. He suggested to get wells to Mayaro to get waterflood underway, but also keen that one of his first wells would be a replacement to the "lost" C sands well. I guess if he goes for the lost well the production increase over the next 2-3 months and cash flow as a result has the potential to be spectacular, 200-300% production increase for a short period could give the opportunity to trial gas or water injection, especially a pair or threesome as suggested. On the other hand a pair of Mayaro wells would go down quickly and have lots of pay. Perhaps then we'll get the anticipated ops update.

Ed.

Good to see the share price starting to recover.

If Leo Koots can demonstrate that his strategy is working then this will rerate.

We could get an ops update next week.

LGO was range bound and until LK can prove that his strategy is working, there is no reason to believe that the former situation will not continue. I would like to think that the volatility in the share price has gone but I believe that it will take some time before punters realise that there will genuinely be no more placements and no more initial production flows that rapidly decay.

I also agree that the T10/20 punters will have played a part in dropping the share price A couple of weeks ago, the prospect of a super RNS accompanying the name change seemed to be a foregone conclusion. Alas, the poor private investor got it wrong again. In my experience, logic rarely applies to AIM.

So, LK is due to be in Trinidad this week to see the first drill taking place. I think that this is more to see if his 'values' are being adhered to rather than the technicalities that will be closely monitored by the Country Manager. So, once again, will there be an RNS after his visit? - Time will tell but I can't wait to see the day when the share price begins to grow and isn't knocked back by 30% every time it seems to be on its way to a new high.

TN, agree, WTI price fluctuations at this stage have next to no link to CERP's price progress, holly day's suggestion that frustrated T10/20 punters are those exiting makes sound sense to me. Although not re-buying, with Leo in Trinidad as an obvious forerunner to a 'must be soon' operations update does not!

Carp but it's not why we are down from a matter of days ago that's for sure... going to quite a few leveraged sellers soon me thinks and I suspect some are already feeling the pain of those T20 trades....

TG - Neil did mention at the last AGM that GY670 was producing 38 bopd but that was in response to a question from the floor - he liked to keep the individual well performance close to his chest whenever he could.

I do once recall Neil making a share price price prediction in a media - he predicted 10p when the share price was 5 in old money. At that time some commented that It wasn't good form for CEO to predict future share price and he did learn from that!

I've just listened to the full BRMedia opening event video, having not listened right to the end before. Leo seems very sure of how he will grow the company and in particular that there will be no dilution for shareholders.

He more or less states that our money was being wasted by just drilling wells and his alternate strategy seems to be well thought out and robust.

I have never heard a board member talking prospective share prices before and he is also very confident that prior to the blue sky phase, he can get BP to farmin or buy us out.

A lot is going to depend on the price of oil. The more revenue we receive, the more will get ploughed back in to grow the company and the faster we will get to the big money. Five years could be reduced to three if poo is around $50per barrel.

The comment that really hit home was that our 1000bopd well is now producing 40bopd. You forgot to tell us that one Neil.

RE: Facts,

rorker
After our Koot took over, I read this small paragraph,

"Taqa Bratani, the UK subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi National energy Company, has now moved from the three attic rooms to three state-ofthe-art office blocks on the outskirts of the city; it provides work for 1200 and according to Koot there is much more to come. This year alone taqa will spend $1bn in the North sea and, having successfully accomplished the largest ever asset acquisition in the province, more lie ahead."

Pretty impressive! would you say?

All the best.

One thing is for sure. No-one is going to dilute the company at the rate that NR did. I just hope that LK can make a success out of the company without keeping it a secret. Can we have an operational update pretty please?

Sean,

Yeah a cornerstone investor would be very interesting indeed and leave CERP cash rich as well as asset rich. He did say he would only do it if it were value accretive to the company. It would be nice if Mr Koot would fill in some of these blanks, like the depth of the well that he's going to T&T to observe next week.

Regards,
Ed.

It's interesting to see just how sensitive the share price is to slight changes in volume.

A sustained period of positive news and sentiment could significantly change the share price within a short period.

Listening to the extended video of the presentation you get the feeling that Leo Koots has a few positive surprises lined up, including a cornerstone investor.

Mr Koot due in T&T next week, perhaps we'll get an update then. He can't keep these plans to themselves forever. The chap seemed rather keen on a redrill of the lost well too. :)

Ed.

There seemed to be a smile on his face when he mentioned cornerstone investors, I honestly believe funding at any stage of CERP's development will not pose a problem.

Open offer would be a better route as some say that's what Leo alluded to recently !
