The disappointment for me was the fact there was no meat on the bone. Basically, director change, name change and a broad view of the intentions. I'd like to have known if they have identified any thing significant in the past few months to work on, e.g., any specific tasks with projected time scales. I think mm's have taken advantage of this and trapped many T10 and T20'rs. It wouldn't surprise to see some half decent buys tomorrow on the back of what gets relayed in the event tonight. With analysts invited too, perhaps a note or independent appraisal from one them will go a long way to drive the share price But good to know that the finance man also has also vested interest at much higher share price

Mayflower - FWIW I did meet our new CFO at the last bun fight and he responded well to my questions post close of the video part - can't pretend my 5 minutes was an exhaustive grilling but he was forthcoming to me about the role he played in the King making process and more importantly he empathised with my directional view that the company should be progressing the deep drilling of Cedros which Leo subsequently went to great lengths to emphasise in his video the very next day.

Re the Madagascar business I believe he had to work with the tools he had to try and keep the company going - he told me he was quite used to fielding brickbats!

The only thing thats changed

Here is a fall off in the price of oil. Quite normal fall as the inventories will dictate the price pretty much. Stocks generally well down universally today. Negative postings re Madagascar etc will help to persuade some nervous pis to get out now. None of which will influence my conviction that Columbus and its CEO will prosper and by association its pis. IMHO

2.75p and a lot further to fall imo. This share has been pumped up on hot air by TW and his fans with lgo suckers joining in. It looks like the pump is over now and the dumping is to come. I feel a TIMBERRRRRRRRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrrr coming on. :)

Interesting that the outgoing guy voluntarily gave up his position. Odd decision to make, but a very helpful,cost effective one for Koots.

On a separate note, good to see that any leaks now appear to have been well and truly fixed.

How long do you think that this has been in the planning? I'm intrigued that the new CFO was appointed to the board in January. It would be nice to think that LK and co have been plotting this for a good while.
Given the funding that LK might have access to and the numbers of companies that he seems to have run his ruler over, it seems pretty positive that he has acted on CERP first. His language in the RNS has been pretty positive - hopefully, he can say more this evening - some definitive news about progress seems to be necessary.
