Ride,

The target is to hit a $500m cap through SWP drilling and south American onshore asset acquisition and development. Beyond that LK hasn't set any more targets yet, but that will be a good start.//////// Good to see that LK isn't a ramper,however,£500k market cap for a £4m p/a loss maker does sound a tad like a wee bit of a ramp to me!!!!!

Offerman,

You never know fella, just depends on how lucky LK is with the SWP. One well could change it all and fast. When you look at the East Vene Basin for that depth it could be anything from a few hundred bopd to a few thousand bopd for the Herrera. It'll be fingers crossed time when those start to spud for sure. We're only talking 200bopd+ per half year to reach the lower target set by LK.

Regards,
Ed.

The MMs have been working trades below mid price so that buys look like sells and have now increased the offer price but left the bid the same to ensure that they can continue to mislead. Anyone would think that AIM had been designed to take our money.

Well after my catastrophic 700bopd prediction last time round I have now learnt my lesson . I will be plumping for Leos 900bopd target and share price rising 100% from today's levels to 10p there about year end December 2018.

Just watch and see. Most other people, including Schroders, seem to disagree with you. LK wasn't ramping at Taqa UK when he increased production from 20,000 bopd to 65,000 bopd on his watch over 4 years. And left the company valued at $2.5bn when he left. Those are simple facts.

Ride,

The target is to hit a $500m cap through SWP drilling and south American onshore asset acquisition and development. Beyond that LK hasn't set any more targets yet, but that will be a good start. He'd probably then focus on SA, but who knows.

Great start to the year as others have commented, WTI now over $60/bbl, perhaps we'll even hit $70/bbl this year with the turmoil in the ME with Iran etc now too. Now that LK has hit his first production target focus will now move to his next between 900-1500bopd by year end. But certainly has been setting himself up nicely without drilling a well. It'll be interesting to see what happens when they deepen the Bonasse well.

Regards,
Ed.

I think LK is a ramper, his production targets,sp targets all sound ramptastic to me.

Since when has LK been a ramper? The Good, the Bad and the Ugly? Is that ramping when you include the Ugly in a video and mention it in a Company Presentation which focuses largely on the Bad and Ugly and what they're doing to sort it out? Very strange ramping to me. Looks more like a bit of openness and honesty.

Happy New Year all.

I assume that the 5.45p trades are buys.

I am very skeptical about $36 a barrel as the net back amount,if it was that high then I would expect ramper Koot to have mentioned it in an RNS.

12bn - over the last year CERP have learnt the value of a non return valve isn't it about time you did the same!

Sharehub says 'CERP has the potential to triple production and more than triple share price for 2018.'

Yes please.

RD..my belief is that Schroders, who imo invested as much in the man as in the company assets, will be more than instrumental in assisting Leo in an eventual sale of Columbus when both parties (and LTHs!) access substantial rewards. Can't see this happening much later than 20/21, the original AIM listing just history.

Very pleased with the progress in 2017 but one thing I may have missed (if indeed it has been articulated at all) is what then end game is ? Is the plan to build the company into a mid cap and sell or become a cash cow and divi it back ? I think I have seen all of the strategy presentations but this point has not stuck. Any ideas ?

Edgar - coincidentally the low 2s was the share price level only weeks ago when the challenged individual running a separate thread obsessing about Lind advised his readers to sell!

Someone with say £1000 worth of shares would have lost close to £2000 growth if they followed his advice - hopefully most don't give any credence to a poster who boasts about his lack of research, is unable to comprehend a rns and regularly lies about the the company - he is now claiming to be an ex maths teacher but he couldn't even add up the numbers for the productivity gains in the latest rns!

All the best to all my readers!

Taken from the last RNS..."an improved oil price environment where the Company is receiving an increased oil price on sales, with US$56.241 per barrel being received in December 2017 for November sales to the Pointe-a-Pierre refinery". With WTI being around $58 in November, then CERP would appear to be receiving almost WTI price before royalties. My understanding is that royalties reduce this amount by around 35% making the net price received by cerp being around $36/barrel. That would provide a lot of running room which is probably why cerp can mention moving into a cashflow positive position across the Group.

RE: WTI
Thanks Faz, still looking in regularly and still maintaining my holding, swapped the odd Xmas text with Leo and can feel his enthusiasm for next year, my average is under 2p, I could cash out now for a sizeable 3x return but really do believe and expect LK to hit his 500m m/c target, therefore I am happy to hold and wait.
The thing everyone needs to understand with LK is he doesn’t priorotise the short term share price and therefore isn’t a lover of regular RNS (and with it day traders), expect news sporadically but trust me, some day soon the game changer will hit.
GLA and happy new year
