Looks interesting don't you think? A buy and a sell imo.

I could do with that 125p+ bid right now :-)

Reading the following put out by DTZ has made me thuink about selling Colliers- to me DTZ more widely diversified and less reliant on UK although of course dragged down by the US which Col is not but decided to keep my COL.
quote from DTZ today
Outlook

In the current volatile market conditions, and in a week which has seen the
sudden collapse of Bear Stearns adding to the turmoil in the financial markets,
it is more difficult than normal to predict the timing of transactions around
our year end. In light of these conditions, it is the board's present view that
results for the current financial year will be significantly below market
expectations.

Overall, in contrast to 2007, we expect the global property services market to
experience more difficult conditions throughout 2008. These conditions do vary
both geographically and by sector but it remains to be seen how much further the
recent financial turmoil will influence our clients and markets.

LoL!

Dow off just 68 - what a totally unjustified fall in COL - how many going to miss this chance?

MM's taking advantage this morning to wallop the price and scare a few smll guys out - watch the big buy show up late today or tomorrow imo.

PE is now 5, you get a 3.45p fimal divi + 5.5p divi for the full year coming so nearly 9p over 13 months.

This is a give away price - strip out the divi and it's on a fwd PE of 3.5 and you have the good chance of a takeover bid here at north of £1.

Someone's picking the stock up tho. If SVS is up this much anyone looking around must see COL as cheap. Hopefully it's the mystery bidder scooping them up.

DJ MARKET TALK: Savills Delivers Good FY Results - ABN Amro

1212 GMT [Dow Jones] Savills (SVS.LN) delivers good FY results, in line with expectations says ABN Amro. Says the outlook statement is upbeat on Services and also on Europe/ Far East markets. Believes the shares remain an excellent long-term play and offer far more potential for growth than the market gives credit for. Therefore keeps buy rating. Shares +5.1% at 350p. (ISD)

Must bode well for COL share price shirley?

Savills results today pretty decent, outlook challenging but not a disaster.

Nice to think COL are on half the valuation and 50% more yield approx. Very strong balance sheet too.

Small reverse head and shoulders and a breakout building I'd say.
