Financial Reporting CouncilDuring the year to 31 March 2022 the Board received correspondence from the Financial Reporting Council ("FRC") concerning a potential unlawful dividend payment in respect of the payment of the 2021 interim dividend. On further investigation by the Company it was concluded that similar questions had arisen in some prior years. Details of this and the rectification process for addressing these issues are set out on page 101 in the Directors' Report in the Annual Report and Financial Statements. The Company has made certain changes to internal processes to ensure that these irregularities do not arise again

I got a sell quote for 295p but thought I'd wait a few minutes for 300p. Could be a long wait now ;-)

Decent results but probably didn't justify all of the recent run up - share buyback will help. Bit of a surprise reaction now though at 250p!

I wonder how many got suckered in with the share buyback? Dodged a bullet there!

I sold half some time ago, when my holding was up 15%, the remainder can stay in the portfolio, decent but unimpressive dividend to had.

Glad I sold out a few days ago - I felt the recent rally got a bit ahead of itself and see much better value in IGG and PLUS.

Indeed, I'm up over 20% on these, but intend to sell today

Edit: given the drop might hold on to it now - wonder how they did in most recent qtr ?

Has anyone calculated when the buybacks will finish at the current rate (roughly?)

I don't use charts on low volume trading, IF this company cannot make cash in recent trading turmoil then I'll move on.

Chart looking v.interesting now, closed Wednesday +37% off 1 year closing low. Not expecting too many surprises in FY22 results (June 9th) unless there is a significant update on the separation of the leveraged / non-leveraged business but update on April/May/early June trading should be instructive. FY23 forecast looks light to me given H1 volatility LY was low.

Traders need volatility.

Recent market conditions have certainly provided that.

This company should have seen an explosion in business through May thus far.

Judging by VIX (a crude tool), the current quarter could be considerably better than the last one. CMCX tends to do a little better in a falling market than a rising one, too, I believe? If so, the current quarter could turn out to be a great one.

They’d already stated that the last quarter of last financial year had seen strong performance, that should have carried on into Q1.

You’d have thought so, if 2020 was any guide volumes should have increased considerably on last year.
