Unreal suggested SOU would tank last week, when infect it has shown a very good rise...see post 3666 on this thread (I'm not invested there...it has just been on my watchlist for a while). I can't see in any of the reported trades in CLNR how he sold and bought back cheaper last week . I lost 200k on stop losses @ 2.75 and 2.7, and have bought 125k back @ 2.725. i.e all square. He is a mystery man with a curious agenda, but does provide some distraction whilst we wait for the big news to drop. Will it be this week?? GLA

A definite incentive for gas and oil companies not to find themselves short of the gaseous commodity! I think they'll want as much of the stuff as they can get their hands on!

I would suspect that those making decisions in the bid round will be fully briefed by clnr on developments relating to jv,s or funding for drills etc.nothing will be left to chance given mr cluffs vast experience and reputation.

Perhaps there are some in lofty positions that act irrespective of which government is in power.No gas for the hoardes to cook their teas on or heat their houses would be a bigger issue than brexit if the scenario arose .

Agreed but unfortunately I don't think that the government can see beyond Brexit right now aside from the occasional bit of damage limitation!

The share price chart does have a similar look to the historic rise of august 16th,means nothing but it will be interesting if it follows the same path...share prices have the touch of human hands all over them and where there are human hands there are patterns and where there are patterns there are opportunities to make money ..Only an opinion of course.That said every thing seems to be coming together nicely with demand for gas ramping up due to supply concerns...One would think the government would be falling over themselves to grease the cogs of gas exploration companys and any companys looking to develop gas storage facilities.

In todays Sunday Telegraph - DUTCH QUAKE LEAVES UK GAS MARKET ON SHAKY FOUNDATION......

This is the just what Mr Cluff has been telling the British Government......get your energy policy updated as soon as possible......and so he goes on.

If the Dutch close some of the small production fields then gas prices in the UK will have to be increased as Holland is the benchmark gas market in Europe.

This event in my view is a very helpful factor for CLNR.

Well I sold a bundle and bought back cheaper, sorry if it dropped the share price but I could see no one was prepared to pay 3p plus, so I took the gamble, paid off beautifully!

Mind you Anley, Premier initially disclosed tight hole status and now suggest its disappointing (Energy Voice). So they have been communicating.

They could possibly be disingenuous about matters. I was surprised Premier commented on tight hole status in the first place. I also still think that any farm out will be after licences have been announced.

It would have been good if it had been successful, though Algy didn't see this as essential to CNR.
