24/11/2017 17:23 | Hi Anley, even though I was at the AGM I still wonder if there was something they were not able to talk about. It seems as though the big investors are still in there. Although I felt the emphasis was for next year anything could happen. They certainly felt that the BP drill with Premier and Perenco would help sentiment but wasn't vital. | clickon
24/11/2017 14:19 | Something is amiss and I really can't put my finger on it. In the meantime I have been looking at SERICA ENERGY and asking myself why CLNR could not do the same but then realised that no one had come forward with the deal that transforms the company............t Well have a happy weekend..........and have a read....... | anley
24/11/2017 12:28 | C'mon Algy, release some fricking news. | doshdabbler
23/11/2017 16:31 | You can bet your bottom dollar Limited access has sold out, he stated such on LSE if it went to 1.7 again, and buy back I at 1.4 p lmao! He has gone all quiet! Gutted! Still here fella's waiting patiently! "imitedAccess Posts: 203 Off Topic Opinion: Strong Buy Price: 1.70 Pre budget bounceTue 23:09I suspect today’s rise is a pre budget bounce in anticipation of good news for the industry as a whole. I don’t expect any major developments for CLNR just yet, and may sell a few if it hits 1.75 and buy back when it drifts down to 1.4/1.5 for the next few months . However Algy may well pull something special out of his hat any day now...and I don’t want to sell out (again) and miss that one." | therealdeal5
23/11/2017 14:41 | Of course ultimately I suppose if extra shares are issued, there could be a buy back sometime in the future if things went well? | clickon
23/11/2017 13:10 | Now 1.83p to buy after paying 1.79p just 10 minutes ago.......neverthele | anley
23/11/2017 12:43 | Good to see the share price forming a solid base but would be nice to have some news Algy old boy. | soulsauce

23/11/2017 12:31 | AGREED! In terms of a drill the preferred option was farm out but part funded drill seemed to be the next. Ineos had the potential of 1to3 tcf at one of their new sites, so we're not looking too shabby and unlike Ineos being in deep water for a drill we're in about 150 ft (needs verifying) as I understnd it, with a Jack up rig.' | clickon
23/11/2017 11:58 | Helpful news for CLNR as it adds a further dimention to the potential M&A activity. However, CLNR either needs to have a partner or do the deal themselves as we all granted the power to the board at last months EGM.............to issue millions of shares - but at what price? - and - will we PI's be able to participate? I am in favour of gambling on drilling for a commercial gas flow. Most shareholders and members of the board are all loosing so what have we got to loose as the gas is there under the sea bed. If we hit a commercial flow then the bidders will be in BUT if we do not get on with it and prices for rigs start to go up then we could be sitting on this BB this time next year kicking ourselves........... WHAT DO YOU THINK MR CLUFF AND ALLENBY THE BROKERS. | anley

22/11/2017 16:24 | 21/11/17 - "Chemicals giant Ineos is making a move into deep water oil and gas exploration in the North Sea. Ineos has bought a majority stake in two exploration licences in areas far to the north of Shetland, thought to have strong prospects for gas reserves." | turbonutter
22/11/2017 16:24 | 21/11/17 - "Oil giant BP has agreed to sell its interest in a number of North Sea assets in a deal worth about £300m. Subject to approvals, the sale is expected to be finalised in the third quarter of 2018 Bernard Looney of BP said: "We remain committed to the North Sea and continue to invest. We expect our production there to double to around 200,000 barrels equivalent a day by 2020 through new projects like Quad 204 and Clair Ridge." | turbonutter

22/11/2017 13:48 | The mention in the budget of N Sea gas and oil field sales having new tax breaks seems to have had a +ve impact so far on the CLNR share price - up a tad under 6% | maytrees
21/11/2017 21:15 | Suspect todays rise is just a few buyers on the back of anticipation on the budget announcements. | bronislav
21/11/2017 16:23 | And let me remind everyone that Cluff looks after himself before he will be looking after you...........so in any new funding we will all be diluted again. | anley

21/11/2017 14:44 | That's not how it works. They'll need to start planning a placing well before the middle of Q2. Our investors will not be happy. | doshdabbler

21/11/2017 11:52 | There is lots of M&A going on - look at the BP site to see what they are doing all over the world as well as Shell, HUR etc etc - so I dismiss that as a smoke screen. Dorfman and Spencer together with a stockbroker now control the company and if Mr Cluff is not in a position by March 2018 to have even the outline of a deal then I expect there will be an alternative move to have the company moved on. Cluff has 14m shares - current value £2m+ and no options so if I was in his shoes I would want my shareholders to get back the original price of 5p........that is £7m and all his salery and expenses over the past 5 years. Not a bad running yield!!!! and.......... by the way all the big boys are bidding on patches which surround their current holdings and that is what CLNR are doing in the area they have finds. Even BP are having Premier drill for them and BP are near Hurrican with its huge oil find so its not just gas its oil as well. | anley |
