23/8/2012 15:23 | Yep in a way but if you look at the ohlc chart the share price fired up their because of the breakout from an ascending bullish triangle. Get what you mean though. lets put yesterdays differences behind us. | mechanical trader
23/8/2012 12:42 | Is it my imagination or does the current pattern in the long term chart look just like Jan 12? | jdk14
23/8/2012 10:40 | Well, they certainly cannot delay the DFS much longer - they will need to start work properly in November if they are to get the mine up and running in 2014 - they will need to do this to keep the SL Government on side. They have pushed it as far as they can, time to build it or flog it. | amargosa
23/8/2012 10:31 | amargosa. Based on the information the company has to date, I would be guessing that McGloin has already had some very, very informal discusions with interested parties. The company is talking about going it alone but a takeover at the right money delivers the required shareholder value much earlier than it would do if they had to finance the various projects to completion. | fitton
23/8/2012 09:33 | Excelent reading material on Gold and gold miners........... | mechanical trader
23/8/2012 09:23 | fitton, I've always thought that IF there is to be another take-over attempt, it would be after the DFS and before the financing was signed off - a (large?) predator company (probably cash rich) would not want to be tied into the financing option a smaller company would have to accept. I get the feeling that Cluff is trying to avoid being taken out before true value emerges and they are doing whatever they can to avoid this - delaying the DFS endlessly, for example. Trouble is, delaying the DFS has collapsed the share price and made a takeover attempt more likely to succeed. | amargosa

23/8/2012 09:18 | Sounds interesting. £1.35 to £1.65 will do for me. | mechanical trader
23/8/2012 09:12 | Get the feeling that it will be sooner rather than later.Since the results and statement about no share dilution, the focus seems to be back on how much potential the company has.I would guess the company has always been on the radar of bigger players.A takeover this side of christmas I hope.Very likley the share price will improve from here, moving back up closer to £1 especially now gold looks like its on the rise again.A takeover now between £1.35 and £1.65 could be accepted from a major player with lots of cash, before gold increases to closer to $2000oz.Just a thought,I am probably way of the mark. | fitton

22/8/2012 15:49 | I won't - because I have watched BB signals in the past and they shift around all the time. Mugs game using them (IMO) and please don't think that I'm not a fan of Cluff - I first invested with Algy when he had gold mines in Zimbabwe, then to Ridge mining. I'm holding on for the eventual sale which always seems to happen to companies that he leaves! | jdk14 |
