12/7/2016 13:27 | 1) DQ has in the past said no money will be retained for any new deals or developments. The full amount will be returned to shareholders. 2) The amount of $1.3BN includes interest at the point of the claim. | fidra
12/7/2016 13:27 | End is nearing for roi, they know they will have to give some sort of compo. | neo26
12/7/2016 13:13 | Tburns my thoughts exactly. | debbiegee
12/7/2016 13:12 | the INDEPENDENTLY valued claim amount is US$1.3bn+interest. DQ was not happy with that number, and thought that the project was worth $2bn. He has even said that they may go back and appeal the value of their claim. Let's stick with $1.3bn for now. At today's exchange rates that is £988mn. Let's assume there is an out of court with ROI at a 50% discount with no interest applied in return for a clean cash settlement - £494mn. That's £3.43 a share on the day the deal is done and the cash is returned to shareholders. Between now and the day something like that is announced we are likely to see anywhere between 24p and £1.20 but if anyone thinks DQ and his team are going to hold out for 70p or £1.20 then they have not followed this story fully or viewed any of the video interviews with him. I can't see him doing any return under £2. I think he'll try for £3 a share, return £2.50 to shareholders and retain £75mn for a new resources project. | craffert
12/7/2016 13:00 | thats because we will certainly get alot more then 23p per share... | neo26
12/7/2016 12:47 | MM's want large blocks of shares as they are happy to up the Bid to 23.0p to take 50k off the table, I wonder why?? | tburns
12/7/2016 12:40 | WowI would be a very happy man!!I can't see 120p as market will know we need to raise 5m bucks | patviera
12/7/2016 12:32 | I also see a lift to £1.20 as proof talks are on going, when? August 2016. | stephen1946
12/7/2016 12:31 | Seriously, i think the case is over and ROI are trying to mitigate the huge damages loss it will face. Icsid have done their job and ROI are left holding the baby from the antics of previous administration. D.Q. is a merciless character and is not for negotiating beneath a figure he already has in mind. All imho. | stephen1946
12/7/2016 12:26 | StephenI'm at 75pct Where are you in terms of chance of winning? And you think it could be nearer 150p?Not my view bit would love to be proved wrong!! | patviera
12/7/2016 11:44 | It has been in jakarta globe and post roughly 6 or 7 weeks ago, when or if the court date is needed i am sure it will appear again. | stephen1946
12/7/2016 11:34 | stephen hav you a link for that article? | neo26
12/7/2016 11:03 | Thanks for that | tburns
12/7/2016 10:50 | fill or kill they have to make an instant decision.[the official price was 23.25 but a buy had not been shown for over an hour] a limit order can sit there all day and it may not hit that price | debbiegee
12/7/2016 10:46 | Debbie Whats the difference between placing a 'Fill or Kill' buy order or a limit buy order? | tburns
12/7/2016 10:46 | MM's playing around with the spread and quoted prices then :) | sportbilly1976
12/7/2016 10:39 | I have read your forecast regularly, and dont agree at all, but thats your opinion and of course your entitled to that view. ROI are currently in the process of attempting to change all mining contracts so that all futyre disputes go through ROI courts only. The local press see this as a direct result of the chl case. For me that tells me that ROI are admitting defeat and want to ensure it cant happen again. This will go to out of court settlement, imho. 70p is not even going to be mentioned, much more will need to be tabled, waiting to see what icsid offer isnt an option, again, imho. August is when ROI nerve will crack. | stephen1946
12/7/2016 10:39 | 10k at 23 was my fill or kill buy ! | debbiegee
12/7/2016 10:26 | Stephen Would the directors prefer 70p NOWOr take the chance they get 0p after tribunal decision plus will need to raise more money at some pointThey own millions of shares hereThey will take the money and run imho | patviera
12/7/2016 09:55 | The chart certainly looks positive. | andy
12/7/2016 09:35 | Pat go through the process? Your having a laugh? | stephen1946
12/7/2016 09:33 | Pat, Yes we need to check the volumes, it certainly looks as though accumulation is occurring. Very positive if so. | andy
12/7/2016 09:32 | no chance they would agree that | pembury
12/7/2016 09:27 | Not sure it's a pound as roi will go thru process unless settlement is reasonable60 to 70p would be reasonable | patviera |
