 Stockpicker, you really haven't got a clue. You've been banging on about the shares being worth 3p (post 2140 in Jan), saying the shares should be around 5p or 6p (2083 last Dec), that people should see the shares at 10p (2006 last Nov) and that it was rubbish that they could not pay off the £5 million debt (1921 last Nov) and even more ridiculous claims the further back that one goes on your posts. You also blamed MXC for the company's woes when they were actually keeping them afloat.
In addition I note that you do not post on any other stock forum on ADVFN so assume that this is your only investment. You have totally ignored the warnings made by myself and zilco 0ver the past 2 years and you are now down 80% here (2161 in Feb) at a breakeven of 1.4p. At least Beeks has finally seen the light and there really is nothing further to add to his post 2421 or my post 2422. You still have the opportunity to sell and recover your last 20% or stay in and potentially see that go too if, and when, it delists or is privatised.
It's entirely your own choice and your own problem - frankly you'd be better off sticking whatever money you have in a fixed rate bank deposit account where it is safe and sound since you are clueless and have absolutely no idea about share investment criteria or company balance sheets. |
I’m sorry I disagree do you really think the BOD who hold so many shares along with MXC who still own 10% will just let them become nothing? I would like to think they’re working hard behind the scenes on behalf of shareholders to bring the value in especially now all the debt has gone! They’ve got £1million in the bank now to invest with. They’re looking to regain their losses surely!! Let’s watch this space it only takes one decent RNS or two and we’re back flying again. So, interesting week price seems to have held reasonably well since that overhanging debt was cleared. Really we just need an announcement that a decent CEO has been employed to take us to the next levels. Hopefully with cash in the bank now and seriously positive growth of morecoco in recent years this will be set to continue and if we can bring some new acquisitions in again to pump up the profits then hopefully we can break through 1p again. Does anyone care to give a view or analysis on where they see morecoco going in the next 3 years? |
Stock picker - I suppose you have to ask yourself the question as to why you invested here. If I wanted to invest in an online retailer I'd buy AO or the other plethora of companies out there.On the consumer side, have a look at hotukdeals previous morecoco comments as to quality of service. I just don't see the attraction in this low margin space, the only way they can grow is also by taking on more debt which gets things back where they were.You seem to have done what I did - fall in love with the company. |
Also don’t forget MXC still own 10% of the company and they won’t easily be beaten 🙏 |
The question is what will the share price/value be with a fast growing 3.5 mill turnover company, very low operational costs 1mill cash in the bank and a much brighter future? Is it realistic to get back to a penny? At least that 7.9 mill debt has gone now! So much uncertainty there and even looked like going bust at one point. But now they’re free to grow! |

Well I do wish you luck but after the disposals it probably will become too small an entity to continue to list on AIM. Therefore, it could plan to delist and in those circumstances either you would be left with shares in a private company or perhaps they might offer a peppercorn price to enable shareholders to exit prior to any subsequent delisting. |
