03/4/2002 09:05 | Yes + the cross sales from Documedia..... the picture is coming clearer . I think we will need to get the results out of the way with a good forward statement in order to induce some buying here.. but it is nice to know that we've found it before that comes into the general domain. | minuteman
03/4/2002 08:59 | turnover should now be around 14M if you include ColourFlow. | rangers99
03/4/2002 08:34 | I've bought another 20,000 on the back of this at 7.25p | minuteman
03/4/2002 08:00 | No ...we are looking forward to announcing some "familiar names" that have addopted the software. This indicates that there has been a further uptake of the gear since the CANON UK deal which was said to be "significant"! Coupled with Documedia revenues... I think that our research is providing correct and we have ourselves a winner! CTL have never changed their stance of break even to 28/2 and profitable next year! 1 million profit on t/o of 10 million = pe of 4 and at a 50% discount to NAV, leaves this stock very very very cheap! | minuteman
03/4/2002 02:53 | mmmmm....how about "Without the use of proprietary software purchasers can strip out up to 60% of the indirect costs of administering print buying. " | rangers99
02/4/2002 14:12 | hee hee been some good buying lately. tranches of 30k last week 20k today. I'm still comfortable. | minuteman
02/4/2002 13:29 | Not sure but to quote the late, great Blackadder: "Something smells fishy and Im not talking about the contents of Baldrick's apple crumble" | rangers99
28/3/2002 13:33 | I cannot work out what the MM's are doing with this. Clearly 150k worth of buys yet they drop the bid?? Anyone got any clues?? | minuteman
27/3/2002 00:12 | True! the drop for today is now apparent. 85k sell which is for only £5k, so not really any dumping! If the company were lying, I'll have to dust off me baseball bat......only joking Warren! | minuteman
26/3/2002 09:11 | Im not selling either. Even if the results are poor current market cap should be more than backed by cash + properties. However IF they are bad the company have a lot of explaining to do since they've been shouting profitability for months now. | rangers99
26/3/2002 09:07 | No idea... I'm selling nowt till I find out. The results should be ready to publish soon, and we all know what we're expecting. I am not too worried, apart from if the results are good the bleeding MM's are going to be the only ones benefiting short term. There is the theory that they may be short of stock in anticipation of good results trying to sneek some out of us at these paltry prices | minuteman
26/3/2002 03:11 | Its a heck of a drop though. Tree-shaking or something more sinister? | rangers99
25/3/2002 21:30 | ...and they're able to get away with it. (Suppose there could be a large T sell!) | aghumra
25/3/2002 17:29 | Quite simply....yes! | minuteman
24/3/2002 15:44 | Just had a look over this co. - looks very promising indeed. Mgt seem to have made several shrewd decisions that have enabled them to position themselves very strongly for recovery in the IT / Support Services sectors. One of the best recovery stocks I have come across IMHO. The only problem is the large spread and tiny NMS will make it difficult to build any significant stake. I may well have a crack at this one on monday. | kermat
24/3/2002 14:55 | Hi rangers Sorry abou the delay in replying..been on me hols That was an exact quote from an email they replied to me. here again:-- Press release on its way to all shareholders but it still will not give the price! The reason is that when you buy bits off a Receiver, it takes time before you really know how much it cost. For asking - assume cost about £500k for a revenue stream of £4m. Profits - no idea if and when, yet!!! | minuteman
19/3/2002 05:47 | The ask price moved between 8p and 9p (over 10%) today on one small trade. I think the MMs are getting bored. | rangers99
07/3/2002 13:36 | anyone any idea when the next results are? | aghumra
07/3/2002 01:08 | Sorry Minuteman, just to clarify, the company told you ColourFlow cost approx 500K and revenues 4M? Or is this your guess? cheers. Also believe this is a good time to be buying. CTL have plenty of cash. | rangers99
05/3/2002 09:32 | Hello people Just emailed the company, re: cost of purchase of Colourflow Their response below Press release on its way to all shareholders but it still will not give the price! The reason is that when you buy bits off a Receiver, it takes time before you really know how much it cost. For asking - assume cost about £500k for a revenue stream of £4m. Profits - no idea if and when, yet!!! So, assuming 400k profit after a year (coincide with DM figures 10%) and maybe more due to cross selling of DM products, more profits for DM from Colourflow products... looks like an good buy at 500k. I was kinda concerned about this expansion in a recession, but as it appears it will be a crawl out of it, then these look good buys for the long term. Just aslong as we can keep above break even and halt any cash burn! I t appears from "major contract" with Canon that software is developed and should be eating more cash. Look at the posts above, hardly anyone has heard of CTL, we are in at the ground level and I shall be looking forward to the next 2 to 3 years Good luck | minuteman
28/2/2002 15:27 | Aye, and I like the chery picking aspect, they have only bought the London branch, "the No1 pre press printers in the city"... Don't know what that means but indicated a good client base that will complement already good services by Documedia | minuteman
28/2/2002 13:17 | Looks like another cheap purchase from the administrators... | aghumra
28/2/2002 02:04 | Looking at the last results, discontinued operations contributed 150K to losses (I assume this is the printbynet disposal). Also Tayler suggests running costs are decreasing. I expect my previous calcs re: cash + properties are on the pessimistic side. And as minuteman says there are some other (small) fixed assets on the balance sheet. dyor. | rangers99 |
