The carbon footprints of all of those projects are significantly higher than CTL's, what's the point of the rush to EV's and go green when the carbon produced to extract the very things to make the batteries is adding to global warming. The car makers and battery producers know this and as posters have said on here, and the management, our lithium will be highly sort after and probably command premium prices. The European car manufactures and battery producers will be courting us, not us going after them. The Europeans are scrambling to catch up, but they are conscious of sourcing low carbon lithium.

Market cap wise - i think with new JORC coming in few weeks, this should also blast past ALL., KOD, PREM too!

I'd like to see CTL blast past BHL in terms of its market cap and share price performance over the next few months, just to prove the point that I was right to some of the posters who dismissed CTL:)

Even if this goes up another 25% today the market cap will still only be around 33.75m.

The UK investors may look around at other lithium focused stocks, and not to knock it, BHL. Then they may compare them. But they need to look at LKE as an example if they are to really compare CTL to another company. The research documents on the company website help to explain this.

LKE are almost a 2 billion AUD company.

Wish I had come across it earlier and researched the lithium stocks earlier. Seems like a good group of investors on the ADVFN boards for CTL, quiet, for now.

Just read through the research reports again, see link in header. The price targets are going to be revised upwards later this year, they are already very bullish.

The European car maunfacturers are now searching the globe to source lithium which has a low carbon footprint. The Aussie hardrocks don't. CTL has a huge competive advantage, which will be leavearged to attain deals with European entities which will no doubt significantly enhance the share price And this story is not going to take years to play out, could have our first deal deal before Christmas.

Europe is playing catch up, the very fundamental nature and landscape of the giant European car companies is threatened by the now dominant position held by the state backed Chinese. If the Europeans don't act aggressively they are never going to catch up.

I'll write this in bold so it maybe sticks and people spread the word. CHINA KNEW THEY COULD NEVER COMPETE AGAINST THE INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE CAR MAKERS, SO THEY JUMPED DECADES AHEAD AND NOW DOMINATE THE EV INDUSTRY.

Oilbuy, we might hear some numbers and details during tomorrows presentation.

Looking at its peers, I don't think its too far fetched to think CTL could increase exponentially from here as each step is de-risked. The direct extraction process, combined with the best solar power location on the planet seems a winner to me, but investors don't understand the competive advantage it gives the company yet.

I could see CTL being capped at 500m GBP or more not that far from now. Look, companies like LKE which are comparable to CTL are capped at 2 billion Aussie dollars. CTL just need to close the value gap, which they will do with the upgrades to both projects, the completion of the scoping studies, building the pilot plant and bringing in partners like say, Audi, BMW or Mercedss. This stock has yet to get going, IMHO.

Two projects 4M tonnes of lithium. One exploration licence which could potentially have the largest lithium salar in Chilie.Anybody got any idea how long it would take and how many plants we would need to build to extract ?As someone said 70p is 50m cap which is a starting point compared to comparative peers !

After a strong rise it's usual for stocks to pull back, but my gut tells me from experience I don't think that it will happen here as the demand starts to come in to buy as investors begin to understand the value disconnect here, but the limited amount of stock means the share price has only one way to go. Next target, 40p.

With big news due on both projects and the webinar this week, plus I understand that the guys at Fox Davis (especially the small bald guy promoting the stock in London) CTL should see a rerate to something better valuaing the company on it's current assets. The share price closing on the high for the day would be a bullish sign.
