09/6/2021 16:15 | Some very interesting points in the IC Nuclear/uranium article, but as many Bear as Bull. The lack of cost improvements could ultimately do for nuclear. The need to build up the supply chain with every new power station, every one here pretty much a one-off. Just requires batery tech or micro-generation to get going. Difficult to see them pouring the vast amount of concrete needed for new nuclear any time soon, only for it to be obselete in a decade. Incidentally also the build time. | stockstockham
04/6/2021 14:17 | Thanks Papillon, but I mainly invested here for product volume of copper produced, but I will check out your suggestion, cheers! | tonytyke2
04/6/2021 13:59 | If you want exposure to uranium miners, Tony, invest in GCL. It, like CYN, is managed by NCIM and it's invested almost solely in uranium miners. | papillon
04/6/2021 11:39 | Good news for CYN, interesting very long article in the IC today around nuclear power. China forging ahead with nuclear new capacity indicating this will propel the demand for uranium. IC indicate that CYN does have around 5% of it's portfolio in uranium and could be a good way to dip a toe into the sector. Looks like another driver for NAV and share price growth here. | tonytyke2
31/5/2021 16:10 | The opinion of the managers. | papillon
27/5/2021 16:05 | Good rise for copper today. Should filter through to CYN share price soon. | papillon
07/5/2021 09:52 | Hi mp41, Rather than look at a target, I always keep tracking the NAV on such investments. I think when I initially invested it was 17% discounted to NAV. Today the NAV is 177.4p so still discounted.I originally invested for the copper element (which is around 23% of product make up) and for gold (16 %) as a stock market edge. It does however as you know, have a great reach across many other commodities which prices have also been strengthening. Copper prices continue to boom, so still very happy to hold and add, good luck with your investments. TT | tonytyke2
06/5/2021 12:23 | Had these in the portfolio for a while now and pleased to see the recent increase. I have noted outperformance of some of the holdings and am interested in other long term holders views of a likely target price/future prospects. Costs seem high but dividend welcome! good luck to all | mp41
16/4/2021 08:05 | NAV now over £1.60, still building. | tonytyke2
22/3/2021 13:29 | Management reporting a very positive outlook in their latest update Good stuff! | tonytyke2
12/3/2021 13:02 | Still adding here when I can, added more today. Was 14% discounted to NAV yesterday, more than a 4% dividend yield and IMO a reasonable inflation hedge investment. Anyone else been adding recently? | tonytyke2
11/2/2021 13:18 | Wonder if it has bidden for more in a recent placing of ravp and rav, at prices much lower than the market price. It would be great if it has. | ceaserxzy
06/1/2021 15:43 | NAV back over £1.50, it's been a while! | spectoacc
22/10/2020 08:39 | You missed today's XD :) But good luck - CYN been a LTBH for me, not always successfully. | spectoacc
22/10/2020 08:32 | Sold out yesterday. Moved more into CAML and APF. Higher yields now from these two with better prospects for capital growth from here onwards. Price of copper increasing should drive CAML higher and dividend will be restored. | lord gnome
13/7/2020 14:38 | Still moving up steadily and the discount to NAV is narrowing slightly. Rather wish I had bought lots more - usual story. One day I will be really good at this game. | lord gnome
23/6/2020 20:28 | "Could be the gold exposure? Been a nice run back up so far anyway." Doubt it: Someone posted this on another site: "Zak Mir highlights some of the most followed stocks on the small-cap London market and gives an overview of the fundamentals in this #video charting update. Advance Energy #ADV Baron Oil #BOIL Clear Leisure #CLP CQS Natural Res Gwth #CYN Empire Metals #EEE Gunsynd #GUN Jubilee Metals Group #JLP Prairie Mining #PDZ Richland Resources #RLD Pembridge Resources #PERE Pelatro #PTRO UK Oil & Gas #UKOG hxxps://www.share-ta " CYN is more associated with copper than Gold I thought. It has some interesting gold plays, but is playing catchup with BRWM I suspect. | keith95
23/6/2020 13:52 | The managers of CQS Natural Resources Growth Income Trust (CYN) say that the covid-19 pandemic has delayed, rather than ended, the recovery they were seeing in the mining sector. After sharp falls in March, share prices have recouped some of their losses, but the managers believe there is much more to go for. Full research: | neilyb675
22/6/2020 13:29 | Could be the gold exposure? Been a nice run back up so far anyway. | spectoacc

17/6/2020 13:23 | Anything happening with one of the larger holdings perhaps? Discount not unusual at c.20%, but agree a decent move on volume today. | spectoacc
17/6/2020 13:19 | Unusual large volumes being traded today | forensic |
