24/3/2005 15:52 | I can't get my advfn streaming working this afternoon. Could someone please post the buy/sell/? totals for CIR. Thanks in advance. | trevor1959
24/3/2005 13:50 | Superflyer, CIR could also benefit from WNL news next week, if its good. Although they have no interest in WNL, its still a Phil Edmonds stock. | pork belly
24/3/2005 13:43 | maddness people are selling at these levels when news is coming out soo soon?? Maybe they have other stocks that are moving up? | superflyer
24/3/2005 12:32 | nice return........ ; ) | thecynical1
24/3/2005 12:29 | Of course. I bought about 600k in the early days. And then sold stock on the way up. I also bought higher at around 45-50p and I still hold those shares. about 100k of them. Regards | superflyer
24/3/2005 12:09 | Super...I invested in the management of CFM...when the share price was down at 3.6p..3.7p...5p..... | thecynical1
24/3/2005 11:52 | yes I see... you are a speculator.. you dont invest in the management of any company right? You should take some tips from warren buffet. Read 'of permanent value'. | superflyer
24/3/2005 11:35 | Super...does "ramping" come naturally to you or were you an insurance salesman at some point ???? LOL ! | thecynical1
24/3/2005 11:34 | like I said...you are a superhero..... : ) btw...I have a pretty interesting holding in CFM and have traded in and out the CIR warrants in February when they had an interesting run from 2p........profit margin was pretty healthy for a 48 hour trade... ; ) | thecynical1
24/3/2005 11:31 | Yes so central african -cfm, is a very very good back door into white Nile. Ive had it from good sources that CAMEC, (now 10p) will easily do a 5 bagger in the short term, with business going well. | superflyer
24/3/2005 11:30 | The cynical at work again! Do you actually own any stock in these companies?? I said yesterday on the WNL thread that there would be news out in the London Standard today and there was, also said that white nile will relist next week, and they will.. And... there will be an RNS out very shortly on CIR... and there will be, i stand by my words. | superflyer
24/3/2005 11:28 | I like the comments by the Sudanese... Total are french they are in France, this is Sudan!!! Good Job that Andrew met these guys over two years ago.. Also being African helps im sure. And the Suadnese hae certain amount of respect for the British I think. Its like the Chinese, they prefer to work with people that they know and trust not only the big boys!! Lets see what happens nect week... I think if all goes to plan then it will go a world of good to the other edmonds shells. And im sure we will hear something very soon with CIR.. Nothing will be held back after wnl is relisted. Edmonds is about to list two new companies on Aim... | superflyer
24/3/2005 11:10 | just in case.....the following is the link.... | thecynical1
24/3/2005 11:08 | there is a piece in the Guardian this morning ref White Nile and the Government of Southern Sudan stating that they will press ahead as planned.....this however has absolutely nothing to do with CIR.... ; ) | thecynical1
24/3/2005 10:39 | Sounds a bit longer to wait. | topvest
24/3/2005 10:27 | Excellent work Pork belly. Many thanks. | sharecropper
24/3/2005 10:17 | Just spoke to Capricorn . Holdings in White Nile are as follows : Central African = 9.68% US Global Investment = 8.39% RAB Capital = 6.45% Libra Fund = 5.55% George Robinson = 5.16% Artimis Alpha Trust = 3.23% Also confirmed CIR have ZERO shares in White Nile. Asked him about the "substantial" acquisition referred to in the official 07 Feb RNS, he said talks were still ongoing and were "pretty positive". | pork belly
24/3/2005 10:10 | No, but sister company CFM does. A small rise there today, and this drop here suggests this is nothing to do with WNL and more to do with the many other developments the management team are working on in Africa. Time will tell. | sharecropper
24/3/2005 09:55 | There was news about White Nile in todays London Evenin Standard as some here predicted_: WNL to re-list next Wednesday. White Nile believes it could have up to five billion barrels of oil in its exploration zone. Nothing about CIR thougH. Does CIR hold any shares in WNL ? | pork belly
24/3/2005 08:57 | TREVOR1959 Yes I saw it, and it leads me to believe that at this moment in time I was right to stay out. Unusual for me as I normally jump in at the wrong time. | linslader
24/3/2005 08:54 | You could think that, but looking at the trades yesterday evening there were well over 50% more buys to sells and with that drop you would have expected more??? | winwoo
24/3/2005 08:53 | Linslader Read post 587 | trevor1959
24/3/2005 08:50 | A cynical or maybe wise person might think this was a classic pump and dump yesterday. | linslader |
