Posted at 09/12/2024 13:40 by spectoacc Had to chuckle at that renewal - $33.5k a month, but they've been losing money on the existing contracts, so as you say - where's all the extras? And do they RNS the contracts that aren't renewed? Difficult to believe it's a real market in CRTA shares. More difficult to believe it's the sort of co Rachel would like people's pensions to be invested in. |
Posted at 19/11/2024 08:30 by spectoacc CRTA can now only fall another 21.75p. |
Posted at 26/9/2024 05:55 by spectoacc And yet. Major shareholders inc Griffiths have bailed them out what, twice? Three times? And management also bought in, heavily on the first recapitalisation. Why? Been the most obvious thing in the world - wasn't a viable co even when the sales were fake. There's never been a viable business in it IMO, can only assume they were hoping the AI boom would lift all boats - remember the intention to move the listing to the US :) The stock market's meant to be efficient, and perhaps it is, given enough time. CRTA is the sort of co people should think about when the govnt talks about encouraging AIM, encouraging listings, and relaxing the listing rules (which they've done). |
Posted at 25/9/2024 13:28 by spectoacc What a depressing job CFO of CRTA must be. |
Posted at 25/9/2024 07:41 by cc2014 It looks to me that one of the large holders (and I suspect it's Richard Griffiths) has decided CRTA is worthless and is selling their holding down to zero on some from of timeline.I guess the timeline is to get rid of the shares at any price before the next funding round comes along which is not going to be supported with enough money to keep CRTA going. |
Posted at 20/9/2024 14:33 by spectoacc Hadn't realised The Welsh Wizard (AKA Richard Griffiths) was based in Jersey - do they have a more favourable losses regime over there? At least it's now clear why he's called The Welsh Wizard - the ability to make money disappear. Who, in their right mind, would invest in CRTA, then keep averaging down? It didn't have a viable business even when the sales were forged. |
Posted at 04/9/2024 11:39 by cc2014 The endgame on CRTA is playing out now.Either the promises will be delivered or they won't. My suspicion is that their reliance on three partners to raise additional cash is now heading into difficult territory. There's been lots of promises of jam tomorrow but I would suggest CRTA's time will be limited if something is not delivered in the next six months. I guess the fundraise was successful because the three investors saw reasonable evidence things were in place to deliver the sales pipeline. |
Posted at 30/7/2024 13:11 by cc2014 It looks possible to me as if one of the parties who put money in did so to provide cash so CRTA did not go bust. Possibly they are now running for the exit. |
Posted at 17/7/2024 07:30 by cc2014 This story will go on forever until the 3 large investors give in or eventually CRTA find a way. The question is if CRTA does find a way how much more cash will they have burnt through before then. |
Posted at 16/7/2024 16:49 by spectoacc The examples above are why I find it so frustrating listing rules are being relaxed. They ought to be tightened. Many of these co's are just out to fleece; CRTA have the weird assistance of a benevolent major shareholder, or they'd be 10p now. |
