I don't think the investors are happy. They wasted their angry anergy on others who pointed out they'd lose the lot and Mooky was a convicted criminal and couldn't be trusted.

I pointed out countless times myself (starting nearly a year before the inevitable) how they should have got out while they could still savage something but no one would listen.

Well they lost every penny. Turkey twizzlers only for them this year on the pavement!

To all Cineworld Shareholders;

We would prefer to provide updates via a mailing list so we spent time on the weekend working on setting that up on our Zoho e-mail account.

This week we will decide over how best to send out updates.

• We have agreed to get one of the solicitors who we have been meeting with to commission a barristers opinion paper, which will be submitted to a group who are interested in funding our case.

• Last week we spent a lot of time getting the paperwork together for the solicitors so they can start their work.

• Once the paperwork is complete, we will feed the barrister with what we have.

• We have sent the Cineworld board a request to provide a number of answers to questions regarding the plan. We do not expect them to answer but Council feels that we should have the request registered.

• We have sent a registered letter to the administrators to raise our concerns regarding the valuation in the plan. It should have arrived yesterday but I’ve not had an opportunity to check.

• We have likewise written to the Prime Minister, the UK Treasurer and the Investigations team at the, Department of Business and Trade. The Treasurer has acknowledged our complaint and referred us to the Administrators.

As of today:

• We’ve not had anyone step up to help keep the press informed.

• We’ve not had anyone attempt to contact other large investors or otherwise help reach out to people.

• We’ve not yet had a response for involvement from our requests to involve any of the other large shareholders in the group.

Consequently, things are moving slowly but surely. If anyone would like to support / contribute we could really use some help in some of these areas and in exchange for this assistance, we will certainly keep all who are actively involved, more up to date.

yes, shorters are hated because they challenge the thicko stubborn investors plus the fact they make money while the company loses.

The real enemy in these situations is always the company, yet the Stockholm syndrome "investors" defend the company and attack the shorters.

This is coincidental...I suggest we all sign this petition rights for beneficial shareholders!

At 10,000 signatures...

At 10,000 signatures, government will respond to this petition.

At 100,000 signatures...

At 100,000 signatures, this petition will be considered for debate in Parliament.

When I signed it was 3,663 signatures.

Petition

Give all shareholders a voice by bringing Company Law into the 21st Century

Help more investors engage with UK plcs by modernising the Companies Act: Give beneficial shareholders the right to direct info on plcs they invest in & plcs the right to visibility of who their shareholders are, make email a requirement to shareholding registration, & recognise digital AGMs.

More details

Outdated legislation stops shareholder voices being heard. Almost half of individual shareholders can’t directly engage with the company they invest in, as they invest via platforms, the rest are constrained by a paper-based system. At the same time, companies are losing sight of who their investors are. Digital first reform will be better for shareholders, better for business and ultimately, better for Britain – making the UK a more attractive place to invest and to list.

Petition is really well administered, here it is rendered as a UK map by constituency.

ADVFN

My favourite online community .

Investors attacking , taunting goading and humiliating other investors .
Investors abusing mocking and belittling other investors .
It’s what it’s all about on ADVFN and I love ❤️ it .

Have YOU attacked another investor today ??
NO ?? NOOOO ??? !!!
WTF is wrong with you .
Get out there and attack another investor now.
Take pleasure in their pain.

Go for it .
Single a loser out , try to grind them into the ground, make them explode with rage …
Go on … do it now …

SALASG,

"That unfortunately is absolutely absurd and ridiculous. You wake up and find all UK investors' money has been Robbed by some US based lender or whetever/wherever. UK investors' intetests need to be protected locally. The Cineworld company exists, has good infrastructure and can pullback by local deals like AMC in USA did. This US verdict needs to be challenged in courts as a local UK company cannot be hijacked by some overseas cartels"

It's no more absurd and ridiculous than your claim that "investors' money has been Robbed by some US based lender".

There is a priority of claims in companies, perhaps you should have learnt this before you invested?

1. Super senior creditors get repaid first
2. Then secured creditors - fixed charges
3. secured creditors - floating charges
4. preferred creditors
5. unsecured creditors
6. subordinated creditors
7. shareholders

Shareholders are at the bottom of the list and deserve nothing, particularly bearing in mind that subordinated creditors are getting nothing and unsecured creditors are getting paid peanuts. In total creditors are losing an amount of money equal to about £2.60 per share - $4.5bn in total.

Feel free to challenge this in the courts if you wish. The US judge has already politely explained the deal to one shareholder. You can listen to that conversation on the audio attached to this file:

I wish you the best of luck.

But it is better to rely on skill rather than luck.

Potato potata… Jaknife being way too sensible again .

I urge the gamblers amongst you to throw caution to the wind .
Can you imagine £3 a share ?
A THREE HUNDRED BAGGER ?

Imagine if you put even just a few grand on that ?

DO IT .
You know you want to .

WTIW:-

I am here to test investors and gauge opinions.
Occasionally I select a few investors and subject them to systematic character breakdown tactics .
I like to see what makes investors tick.
It’s also fun watching someone lose it all financially and mentally .
I have no regrets before you ask .

How’s about you ?
What brings you to this dark corner of the internet they call ADVFN ??
Posted at 12/4/2023 16:39 by melegramforttongo
WTIW …

Can you enlighten us all as to what you hope to achieve with the holding of CINE shares .
Capital appreciation ?
Dividends ?

Do you enjoy being a losing investor ?

I do tell investors it’s not all about the money .
Personally I like to watch an investors dreams die .
Knowing that they are unable to retire with any comfort.
Love it 😍.
Poking prodding and taunting the loser until it explodes in rage ….

But it’s all a valuable life lesson .
The surviving investors who have now turned their lives around often thank me for the torment they received when at their lowest ebb.
I don’t want thanks , I just do it for the good of the investing community .

WTIW can you take a picture of yourself when it finally dawns on you what’s going on ??

I like to see the whites of an investors eyes when they lose it all .
Love that look when fear , horror take over and then the devastation look is icing on the cake .
Even better if the investor loses their car , home and hopefully their family too .

When the investor is at rock bottom we will be there to taunt and goad until they eventually say …

I MADE A MISTAKE

At this point , the investor can begin the road to recovery …
