CP, I agree, but I will assume all is going well in order for Mr Wang to want to join the company.Griff.

What should we make of the "termination of option" to Tide Favour International Investment? Who were TFII anyway?

Perhaps management have come to their senses. Or perhaps TFII have struggled to interest investors in Pakrut? Given the opaque nature of CNG these days, it is hard to have any idea what is going on.

The reason UK investors are still selling is that management have failed to explain the company's future prospects.

I recall some 18 months ago being mildly surprised at how few UK shareholders remained and by now the number must be minuscule (probably just you, me and the old chap in the corner nursing his pint!). CNG management (unsurprisingly, although still disappointingly) clearly have no use for this rump of long-term holders (7 years in my case).

Does a lower share price suit the interests of the major shareholders at the moment? It certainly makes it cheaper for anyone buying shares (albeit only in smallish quantities and unlikely to be anyone not 'in the know') but it also means greater dilution when they raise funds. So, as always, it's all about timing (mostly for them). It would be fascinating to be able to track the changes in shareholder location over the past year.

I suppose that my concern here is that the 'rewards' here are becoming less, not more, clear. A statement presenting a credible, reasoned plan, with milestones and a timetable, covering the key points on exchange listing and additional finance is something that, IMO, should have been presented to the markets a year ago.

CNMIM may (or may not) be experts at building and operating mines but their investor relations skills appear to be useless despite all their professional advisors.

The share price on 25/05/12 at the time of the confirmation of debt financing was 26.5p. At the moment we are at 26.75p but only 6 months from production... that speaks for itself.

CP, the thing is, it's the UK investors that are driving this down, if the Chinese really want this company for themselves than surly we should stay to reap the rewards.

Over the last year this has become ridiculous.

The only trading direction seems to be down as UK shareholders exit due to lack of information / lack of confidence.

The self-interest factor of CNMIM involvement has always been a worry but with hindsight Craig's departure should have been the signal to sell.

What are the chances that this is being driven down prior to a low 20s HK placing (or even a CNMIM and associated parties buyout, LSE de-listing and subsequent HK listing and placing at a much higher level)? All completely beyond our control now.

I'd be interested to hear from the few remaining long-term shareholders as to how they see this playing-out.
