George - I also like CEY especially the way it has performed along with the gold rally. But there are bigger percentage gains to be had with unhedged low cost junior producers and near-producers. As gold rises the leverage is worth considering especially with this type of set up imho

I have stuck with them. Usually mining shares that go from exploration to production have a super run up to and into production. Well above 100%.

Has the chinese affected the run?

We seem well below par.

I bailed out of these about a year ago, only have centamin, who have underperformed recently compared to other gold plays

Abacus - absolutely. This has hardly moved up amidst a sea of gaining miners so a catch up is on the cards imho. A production update would probably trigger it and be nice to see, but they may still be fine tuning and not be ready to release figures yet. But I would expect the margin on sales at today's pog to be very good.

In for another 10k today. The non exec director sell and resignation has held back the price amidst a gold rally. I believe this will make up lost ground soon. When this one moves, she moves fast

We're now a Gold Producer in a rising gold market. Hopefully this is perfect timing for some production figures.It's been a long wait for this combination.Anyone care to guess when we might hear news on production?

NED may have had to sell due to a conflict of interest. I would expect to see
an RNS stating his resignation or replacement now. Just a guess...

looking forward to a steady share price rise to a pound and an early retirement.
Not an informative post I know but Its just a relief to read something very positive from the Company.

Well It certainly looks positive. However, given the recent recovery in the share price and the muted reaction today those in the know seem already to have anticipated the pour (a week ago one may note). At least we know the digging and the machines work. I guess we will get a better idea on production results in the next financial results.
