From UK analyst -

Meanwhile over in Asia, property prices in China were up in 69 of the 70 cities tracked by the Chinese government in October according to the National Bureau of Statistics. This increase has come despite cities such as Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen recently imposing property price cooling measures such as increasing the supply of affordable homes and raising down-payment rates for second home buyers. Dai Fang, an Analyst at Zheshang Securities Co, commented "On the one hand I can't see the possibility of policy being tightened further to curb prices while on the other hand demand continues to increase as homebuyers expect more price gains."

I did a quick search on DueDil.com on Scarborough and found cash of about 15m and current liabilities of over 150m so this looks in deep trouble if those numbers are right

posted link on NEOS thread and tomboy hasn't come back so maybe he realised he was wrong to talk it up

seems the shares are back to the same price Kevin M @ Scarborough Holding Company bought in so he is the last person wanting them back to this price

Don't forget the warrants they have priced at a respectable 5p

Still not sure why a director selling shares would result in such a surge.
One thought - I recently put £1000 into Marlborough Nano Cap Growth fund, which launched 29th. October, investing in the smallest, exciting growth companies.
Well they don't come much smaller and potentially exciting, so could this be our buyer ?

Yes tomboyb, I saw you had posted about the likely seller while I was writing my last post.
For now I am sticking with companies that will pay me a dividend while I am sat waiting for something to happen. Just be careful - this time last year I was £9000 in profit on my NEW investment, and ended up a few months later selling out at a £9000 loss, all because I listened to people who were lying through their teeth.
In the last seven months I have had a lot of fun playing the dividends, and am so far £12000 up. Makes it a lot easier to sleep at night.
Interesting though that the CNEL increase yesterday was on a China/Nigeria deal.

Adv11 - Could be Damille - Rys is leaving as per last RNS to make way here - The current share price is close to where Scarborough bought at - So, is is an opportunity? I think so - Others may think otherwise.

You may get lucky and get a MAR type rise ? remember that - 0.235p ( yes that was the lowest I was quoted!) to well over 12p now - that is over time.

It may not - that's the risk.
