It would seem to be perfect timing that our shares are fixed in value over the next 2-3 weeks, when everything else is getting cheaper. In effect, that means our shares are continuing to rise in price. Plenty of excellent bargains to snap up at the moment, when the cash comes through in mid July.

they said the payment date will be sometime after 15th July, they don't know the exact time
the div will be paid on the 14th July

I have found that TD Waterhouse often mess up Corporate Actions.

These days I always take a print off, whenever I make an online Corporate Action decision via an online form because of previous dealings with TD Waterhouse. (It should not be necessary but some stockbrokers do mess up and I have found that TD Waterhouse is one of the worse).

Nothing to worry about really; the amount allocated for the buyback is roughly the same amount that is not held by CBI's main man; pretty much everything will be honoured. Just wait till mid july for the cash. If your worried tdwaterhouse didn't receive your form- Call or email to confirm. I never receive clear acknowledgement but always end up receiving whats due.

electrolysis etc will render this company worthless. china grows by 1 million people a month. the world cant lend agriculural land to bio fuels.

who's those qns aimed at qip? i've received confirmation from by spreadbet firm that my instructions to accept the offer have been accepted so i'm just waiting for july closing now before i get credited for the cash. i imagine now the deadline has passed the MM's are dropping the bid to catch those that missed the deadline and have no options but to either sell at the bid or delist

ok all sorted - i've been told that deadline for acceptance is 11am tomorr so hv accepted the offer today. bit annoying but will move funds into wcc instead.

does any one else hold their shares in spreadbet? i thought wedn 23rd was the tender record date, not mon 21st?

some notes:

1. If you tender your shares you will not be able to dispose of the shares in the market unless the offer lapses.
2. If a required payment is denominated in a currency other than that specified on an account, we will convert
the payment at the prevailing exchange rate on or around the day following the deadline date. Should such
corporate action lapse or be scaled back, this may be subject to a different foreign exchange rate upon the
funds being returned to accounts.
3. Should we receive any further information we will contact you accordingly.
4. If you have any queries please do not hesitate to contact our Customer Services Department on the

on my trading system, it says bid 13.5, offer 16
my opinion is tender the offer
don't let mm take advantage of this
