27/5/2010 15:30 | trading update 2 June, results not until September | tim00
27/5/2010 13:30 | think there are a few buyers expecting a decent update shortly | aim11
27/5/2010 13:29 | when r results due? | aim11
27/5/2010 12:29 | the crude oil price has already gone up by 2.5% today! | qipincha
27/5/2010 12:26 | me too still holding shame no extra money otherwise would bought more when it dip | qipincha
27/5/2010 12:13 | have to remember, the ceo bought that stock at 10p...v happy to hold it down here | aim11
27/5/2010 11:26 | yeah i'm still holding 125k. no intention of selling them but i can understand why stock is at 11p...a good trading update should see it 15+ tho short term i'd expect | aim11
27/5/2010 09:47 | aim11, are u still holding? I am ready for the dividend let's see their trading update at least the crude oil price climb back | qipincha
27/5/2010 08:18 | qipincha - this is AIM. if u trade these stocks expecting anything other than the mkt to hugely misprice them then you'll lose money imho - has happened to me many times. | aim11
26/5/2010 21:37 | the price is ridiculous | qipincha
25/5/2010 11:19 | tim, I think we might going to a strange time the market doesn't appreciate the good work cbi has achieved but I am not bothered still holding and buy if can | qipincha
21/5/2010 19:05 | CBI is a good stock to hold at the moment: it gains from the global decline in commodity prices (including palm oil) during times of uncertainty. I wonder whether today's buying is by anyone noteworthy, such as a Director? | tim00
21/5/2010 08:52 | yes, the AGM is 2nd June I believe, ie in 12 days. | tim00
20/5/2010 14:57 | are we expecting to have trading update in a couple of weeks' time? | qipincha
14/5/2010 16:26 | pattern similar to last year | qipincha
07/5/2010 15:57 | Of course. 5m market cap. at 10p is 50m at a quid. Not beyond the realms of possibility if margins improved and/or legislation was introduced requiring companies to use some bio. 1m PBT could quickly increase to 5m under such circumstances... :0) | taurusthebear
07/5/2010 15:46 | you're right TTB, I agree! (Except that I'm hopeful, probably like you, that 30p can be comfortably exceeded at some point. The lowly-paid FD did not put a great deal of her hard-earned in at around 22p for a measly return of a few percent.) | tim00
07/5/2010 15:33 | Tim - put it this way: the share price moves between 8p and 14p do not really interest me, or presumably other long-termers. What will really make us money here is the move up to 30p and beyond, if and when it comes. These current moves are just noise. I cannot see any reason to think the trading range will be broken either way until there is significant news. :0) | taurusthebear
07/5/2010 12:34 | cbi is on top list now | qipincha
06/5/2010 17:16 | we are probably the significant share holders of cbi,lol | qipincha
06/5/2010 16:09 | absolutely TTB. I suspect one day the company will be acquired for its skill base, or alternatively expand via M&A. When that happens the share price will bear no relation to its current figure. | tim00
06/5/2010 16:02 | I think sovereign debt is more the problem for the markets at present. As for CBI, it´s a bottom drawer stock for me so these silly share price movements I rarely even notice. Below 10p I may buy some nmore, but the illiquidity puts me off, so will only do so if I want to add to the bottom drawer. :0) | taurusthebear
04/5/2010 16:02 | I guess the down trend of ftse has negative impact at the moment will have to wait for the result of general election. 3 days to go funny , the election should not affect cbi as the business is not in UK anyway, still holding | qipincha
04/5/2010 15:54 | Nothing happens between results here, so a fall was almost inevitable after the news had passed. Going by that, the optimum time to buy more should be 3 months after the results, when everyone has forgotten about the company and finished selling! :0) | taurusthebear
01/5/2010 22:09 | TTB, nice to see you around, I have already added :0 and no intention to sell | qipincha |
