lack of news. But that's about to change. Political risk, but upside is tremendous. Very strong buy. DYOR!

yes, wcc make good profit, but I don't have it at the moment...
I am not in wcc or haik, but watching haik closely,
feel the company has a lot of potential, but main thing is their debt level.
as it grows rapidly.

I also watch gmg, do you know this one?

do you have any qip? I'd avoid buying any for the time being, until there is some positive news. Otherwise it's just a gamble on the chart. WCC still very good value.

there was clearly a seller, and rather than let them go onto the market and further depress the sp, the founder decided to hoover them up. I'm confident that when the business has a good track record and is paying dividends regularly, maybe in 2-3 years, the founder will sell quite a lot of his shares to willing institutional buyers, at much higher prices. This will create much greater liquidity in the shares and much tighter spreads. This is definitely a long term hold, but with steady operational progress the rewards are likely to be very large. A share price of about £1 in 3 years time is not impossible.

NAV at end-June 2009 was 37p. Since then the £ exchange rate has fallen 10%, pushing the NAV to over 40p. Plus profits in 2009 H2 and projectd profits for 2010 H1. I think the share price now should be about 40p based on eps and assets, not sure about £1.

hi tim,

where did you get 45p?
in that case, the share price should be at least £1???

qipincha

With the fall in sterling against the RMB, the NAV of CBI is likely to be about 45p per share at the end of June. One day this will be reflected in the sp! Long term hold!

the company may keep the dividend this year

VT, they made profits of 2.17p per share in 2009. In the past they have paid dividends equivalent to 10% of annual profit. If they announced such a policy when they publish the annual results in April, the divi might be paid in May.
