09/3/2010 17:19 | im out of haik, only have cbi and wcc in china now, much longer the latter thankfully. | aim11
09/3/2010 16:21 | I am also holding about 100k, :) cbi has a better position than haik, me think | qipincha
09/3/2010 13:57 | hadn't looked at this stock at all for 3 months, still hv 100k shares tho and going to sit tight for a while yet. glad to see its still around 10p and q4 seemed to have improved after the previous profit warn. a good h1 and we could be up nicely from here imho. | aim11
09/3/2010 13:15 | up tick .. | qipincha
09/3/2010 08:06 | gip, did you buy any gkp? It's starting to re-rate. | tim00
08/3/2010 11:46 | my main investment is in barc at the moment but have a little portion left, :) will have a look gkp | qipincha
08/3/2010 11:40 | lack of news. But that's about to change. Political risk, but upside is tremendous. Very strong buy. DYOR! | tim00
08/3/2010 11:39 | I was watching gkp, but seems in a down trend... any reason? | qipincha
08/3/2010 11:17 | gmg looks speculative. try gkp! | tim00
08/3/2010 11:12 | yes, wcc make good profit, but I don't have it at the moment... I am not in wcc or haik, but watching haik closely, feel the company has a lot of potential, but main thing is their debt level. as it grows rapidly. I also watch gmg, do you know this one? | qipincha
08/3/2010 11:03 | do you have any qip? I'd avoid buying any for the time being, until there is some positive news. Otherwise it's just a gamble on the chart. WCC still very good value. | tim00
08/3/2010 10:48 | hi tim, how do you feel about haik, it go up today... | qipincha
04/3/2010 14:20 | we are on a nice trip | qipincha
04/3/2010 07:59 | there was clearly a seller, and rather than let them go onto the market and further depress the sp, the founder decided to hoover them up. I'm confident that when the business has a good track record and is paying dividends regularly, maybe in 2-3 years, the founder will sell quite a lot of his shares to willing institutional buyers, at much higher prices. This will create much greater liquidity in the shares and much tighter spreads. This is definitely a long term hold, but with steady operational progress the rewards are likely to be very large. A share price of about £1 in 3 years time is not impossible. | tim00
04/3/2010 07:52 | yes it is an old RNS :) do they want to buy back all shares in cheap??? | qipincha
04/3/2010 07:26 | qi, as above the same info as RNS on 11th | jailbird
04/3/2010 01:37 | more share holding by the company 74.37 per cent of the current issued share capital of the Company | qipincha
02/3/2010 16:32 | 45p eps would be good! | tim00
02/3/2010 10:59 | sorry, my fault, I thought you meant eps.. haha | qipincha
02/3/2010 09:32 | NAV at end-June 2009 was 37p. Since then the £ exchange rate has fallen 10%, pushing the NAV to over 40p. Plus profits in 2009 H2 and projectd profits for 2010 H1. I think the share price now should be about 40p based on eps and assets, not sure about £1. | tim00
02/3/2010 09:22 | hi tim, where did you get 45p? in that case, the share price should be at least £1??? | qipincha
02/3/2010 07:34 | With the fall in sterling against the RMB, the NAV of CBI is likely to be about 45p per share at the end of June. One day this will be reflected in the sp! Long term hold! | tim00
25/2/2010 10:05 | the company may keep the dividend this year | qipincha
24/2/2010 17:14 | VT, they made profits of 2.17p per share in 2009. In the past they have paid dividends equivalent to 10% of annual profit. If they announced such a policy when they publish the annual results in April, the divi might be paid in May. | tim00 |
