Sterlings 8 holes at Sail Pond discovered a rizla paper slither of silver not worth getting out of bed for. Will they throw more cash at it or give up?

Next up, Adeline.

Looking thru my dozens of emails from various board members past and present, I can see that Martin French was delighted with the Westline results, told me that if, in an imaginary world, he had a choice between the results we got or drilling again he'd stick with the results we got.

He and others have repeatedly stated that CHF is a copper explorer, looking to polymetallic deposits in Cyprus, and that's what we found, except our results, and those of Caerus and Venus, were all GOLD rich.

As a copper explorer we got the chance of Adeline, a more likely copper play, but what do we do with our gold discovery, and how do we finance the new baby?

MF tried to finance Adeline with a secondary listing, but nobody liked the set up as Frenchy showed it, so a different route had to be found, where the copper lovers could channel into the copper play and leave the unwanted gold discovery for someone else.

First Pacton, but sadly the boss there didn't want the risk at his stage of life, he had other things he needed to focus on, and we no longer fitted, so along comes Sterling...

Sterling are an out and out exploration play, derisked by having two entirely separate projects, and are well funded, but as an explorer they need to hit pay dirt or they are toast.

We too are out and out exploration, and we need to hit pay dirt or we are toast!

However, we hit gold, 24m of it, fairly shallow, with a host of other elements to add credits. Why would we risk all by funding Adeline when we've already had our "company maker" discovery, even if the market doesn't recognise it yet?

Ok, 1 hole in amongst a few random and sporadic historical holes by others doesn't quite make another Barrack gold, but all we need to do is fund half a dozen holes to get enough data to define a deposit...

Meanwhile, we have a free carry on TWO potentially WORLD CLASS BASINS in very safe CANADA.

The Canadian copper boys have fled the nest, the troublesome Russian links have been cut, and a new beast will very soon emerge to take us forward.

As for the links to AJ and his bosses company, and money from UAE investors, not sure what to make of that, other than they must have a plan.

Six weeks into drilling Adeline and our share price is rock bottom.

This can't get lower unless Adeline is a total flop.

Based on previous dilling from decades ago that seems unlikely.

The question is, if SAG get a good result is that enough to create interest, or is the site too isolated?

Cheap as chips or smelling fishy?

If we are going to issue a boat load of shares to fund the next exploration round at Westline before Xmas they'll have to produce and issue a circular.

Maybe we'll get involved in a JV where a partner buys in and we get a free carry?

Adeline results in a few weeks.

CHF currently own 4% of SAG, and SAG have an option, before November 2024, to close the deal by giving CHF another 4% of SAG equity plus a couple of hundred thousand quid.

Of course if SAG hit good pay dirt they may raise capital by issuing equity...

So two eventualities are possible:

-Essentially all CHF have is two part time semi retired geologists, licenses in Cyprus with a modest discovery, 8% of SAG, and £450k in the bank.

-Essentially all CHF have is two part time semi retired geologists, licenses in Cyprus with a modest discovery, 4% of SAG, £250k in the bank, and 100% of Adeline (an asset which SAG chose not to acquire for 4.5m shares and £250k).

Just to clarify that - you say 4% of SAG, but is that correct?

Isn't the asset they hold essentially EITHER 100% of Adeline and 4% of SAG

OR (presumably) 8% of SAG + additional £236k before November 2024.

The final completion of the sale of the shares by Polymetal remains subject to certain regulatory considerations and it is expected that formal notification will be issued upon completion of the remaining formalities.

For any sale to happen, there must be a buyer.

Once the Russians are out, and they must be near that by now, the overhang will clear, any shorts will close, and we can move on.

The question is, who are Poly selling to, and what plan do they have?

Essentially all CHF have is two part time semi retired geologists, licenses in Cyprus with a modest discovery, 4% of SAG, and £250k in the bank.

The plan, as I understand it to be, is to leverage any success at Adeline, and they've been drilling now for weeks, so not long to wait for drill data, but since they drilled there in the past we know that a positive result is nailed on.

Significant Post-Period End Highlights:

· Venus Minerals has advanced well during Q3 2023 and the planned IPO is currently scheduled for Q4 2023.

We look forward to providing Company updates for the second half of the financial year, as we continue to operate an exciting pipeline of projects in gold and copper within Southeast Europe and as we look to grow our portfolio further afield."

I think with the success at Westline we didn't need Adeline, so off it goes at arm's length with no risk to us. You don't twist on 21.

The narrative changed.

Frenchy and Dimouni left, and took their massive wages and share options with them.

Here comes a new director with network in cash rich UAE, and a background in mining finance.

Exciting times ahead.

"What's the difference between Franco-Nevada, Ivenhoe, and Chesterfield?"

Well the first is a superbly run royalty and streaming company (the original!) managed by a hugely experienced team of market professionals, the second is misspelt, and the third is a POS run by what seems to be a lifestyle BOD.

The dark cloud of russian involvement has been removed, and I'm sure that the market will view that positively.

There's a lot of money in the Arab world, all coming from oil...

It's a shame that the Polymetal arrangement didn't really work, became a liability, but maybe they'll take Westline with them?

Great news today. Arab sheikhs joining the party and they have money, lots of money. All buys this morning, my buy printed as a sell. All time lows, no debt, cash in bank, tiny market cap. A little buying momentum and this will fly.

The mkt cap of CHF is now just £830k.

The company has about £300k in the bank.

The assets are 3 licenses in Cyprus where a recent discovery was made, indicating the potential for larger deposits nearby...but does this license hold any value given that it will need £1m spent on it, and we have no staff or equipment of our own?

The other asset is a 4% interest in Sterling Metals, with a further cash payment and another 4% coming our way if they find enough to justify the investment.

So we wait.

Cyprus only has value if there is someone out there prepared to give it a go. I expect we'll farm it out for a free carry, like Adeline, and then seek a third project to add to the portfolio.

Sterling are tweeting like Trump to get market interest, and I think they are quite excited by activity so far.

Merger with non listed entity is nailed on here.

The price depends on how sterling do with their drilling as our holding in their stock could be our main asset within weeks.

We could be another Franco Nevada type holding company in the making...
