19/1/2006 07:48 | So what pre-tax profit? Continuing ops say 1.7m Shian (379k previously) say 450k running only part to Chelford this year. Agility (427k previously) say 500k running again only 4 months Total will push 1.8/2.0m EPS over 25p PE getting close to 10. Of course I know nothing but Trevor Lewis is if anything a master of understating his case as he does not want to ever spook his baby with a warning. | aspex
19/1/2006 07:25 | NOW what kind of growth is that! Second year running we['ve had reports of massive order book growth . | silverfern
19/1/2006 07:06 | Although it all says very little we did not already know: 1. "We have laid a firm foundation for 2006 with order intake up by 76% compared to the same time last year" and 2. "Agility's contribution was ahead of original expectations" show up for me as positive. | aspex
19/1/2006 07:03 | Chelford Group PLC 19 January 2006 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 19 January 2006 Chelford Group plc POSITIVE PERIOD-END TRADING UPDATE Chelford Group plc ('Chelford' or the 'Group'), the specialist IT solutions group, today provides an update on its performance for the year to 31 December 2005. Chelford has continued to build on the strong progress of the past two years, augmented by the acquisition of Agility Systems Limited ('Agility Systems') in September and Shian Limited ('Shian') in October. All parts of the Group have made significant progress throughout 2005 and the trading performance of Chelford for the year ended 31 December 2005 is expected to be in line with market expectations and significantly ahead of the prior year. Chelford remains debt free with year-end net cash of approximately £0.9m (2004: £2.1m) after investing £3.2m in acquisitions during the second half year of the year. Both the SSI and SAP divisions achieved solid organic growth. There was good progress in building Managed Services within SSI and the SAP division won its first major Managed Services contract. New contracts in SSI strengthened its position in the food sector and included Dairy Farmers of Great Britain, Naturally Best and Glisten. The SAP division improved its position in Wholesale and Distribution adding Neopost, Supercook and Findus to its customer base. The integration of Agility Systems and Shian is proceeding well. Agility Systems has taken Chelford into RFID solutions, a market sector which is expected to show strong growth. Agility's contribution was ahead of original expectations. Shian has increased Chelford's resources in SAP solutions and brought to the group Microsoft Gold Partner certification in Microsoft Technologies and Business Systems, another area expected to show strong growth. Its performance in 2005 has been in line with management's expectations. Chelford's Chief Executive, Trevor Lewis said: 'We have laid a firm foundation for 2006 with order intake up by 76% compared to the same time last year. The two acquisitions made in 2005 have strengthened our SAP operation, added Microsoft and RFID solutions to our portfolio and created opportunities for cross-selling. We look forward to 2006 with confidence.' Preliminary results announcement In accordance with its usual timetable, Chelford expects to announce its preliminary results for 2005 in early April 2006. | aspex
18/1/2006 23:18 | Yes - Chelford appears to be definately undervalued being on a forward PE of only 8.9 for 2006, well below that of its sector average of 15-18 times earnings. | mushington
18/1/2006 17:49 | Trading statement last year was 18th Jan. This years' maybe tomorrow??? | aspex
18/1/2006 11:23 | Looks like it is time to break back upwards :) Only 1000 being offered online at full offer price as opposed to 5k on the bid at a premium to the advertised price. MM wanting to pick up some stock before the trading statement?? One of few blues on a weak market day. | tole
12/1/2006 18:10 | 2004 trading update was 18th Jan. On the other hand... 05/01/2006 A Food Manufacturing Double for SSI Chelford subsidiary SSI clinch two late signings for 2005. Naturally Best, the Lincolnshire-based processors and packers of potatoes for supermarkets, and Dairy Farmers of Britain, have both signed contracts with SSI for the implementation of TROPOS to manage the end to end manufacturing supply chain of food manufacturing businesses. Dairy Farmers of Britain will implement TROPOS at their cheese manufacturing plant in Llandyrnog. | aspex
12/1/2006 13:39 | Good to see this buying happening and of course no surprise to see it staying where it is!! Come on MMs why dont you knock it back a few pence just for a laugh! | bernieboy
12/1/2006 12:21 | Just looked in again. I see that the MM's are changing things around. At the time of my prev. post 2 O trades at 40k each. Now changed to one trade B @ 80K. Tole you could be right with the trading update. Will it return CRH to it's previous high? pc | pc4900074200
12/1/2006 11:12 | 80k broker buy just gone through. Could the trading update be due imminently :) | tole
12/1/2006 11:05 | If those three buys had been sells, we would have been marked down by 10p / 15p. Not a very level field that we are playing on here? pc | pc4900074200
05/1/2006 18:33 | Could that be why this is being walked down. I seem to remember previous times have shown the same. Walk it down, grab stock from weak holders, to sell on at a profit? pc | pc4900074200
05/1/2006 18:18 | Usual trading update due mid January? | aspex
04/1/2006 21:26 | always seems to be the same with this. If it bottoms out at 200p then it could do the usual and add about 50% in the run up to finals | money4me
04/1/2006 12:14 | Being walked down on low volume. | billiam
23/12/2005 10:29 | Here we go, the mm's two weekly hit!!! Bye-bye weak one's. Long termers will still hold. Oh, and a merry christmas to you, mm's. pc | pc4900074200
08/12/2005 08:45 | With the light volume on the way down from the mid 260s - seems the reverse is now true for a quick run back up :) Well I did call 225...and it got to 220 so glad I picked up a small few to add to the pile (though admittedly was only a small few). Patience needed.... Should see it easily trading £3+ next year imo. | tole
08/12/2005 08:17 | Early activity here. | aspex
07/12/2005 13:29 | Dont worry guys - nothing has changed here - the fundamentals are great. This share always retreats a bit but when it hits £3+ highs next year who cares what it is now. Sit tight and reap the rewards. | bernieboy
06/12/2005 11:43 | trying to keep calm here! | largeman
06/12/2005 10:44 | Having been caught out by the fall on the previous 3 results/interims I sold in September. The drop is fustrating for holders but this is beginning to look good value again | baughfell
06/12/2005 08:55 | Taking another hit this morning. Down so much, for so few?? Cannot blame shareholders when little is said by a company. They will look elsewhere to find profits. The big question is that will the share recover the losses as quickly with news? They wont be getting mine today. pc | pc4900074200 |
