13/9/2005 09:50 | Well that little tree shake didn't work did it !!! I can't see any reason why this should be red. Lots of blue in the months to come I reckon. | hewhodares
13/9/2005 09:47 | Looks like punters have looked at 2004 restatement as 2005? Or perhaps the mm's used it as a chance to mark down? Only takes a few trades to move this one. Also the chart reached the previous all time high yesterday - charty bods selling too I guess rather than wait for a breakout to be confirmed. I'll be holding for a breakout and nore - if C.Stanley has recently put a target on these of £4 I reckon theres a lot more to go - imo. CR | cockneyrebel
13/9/2005 09:31 | Day traders making the odd 100 quid on the rises over the last few days??? pc | pc4900074200
13/9/2005 09:26 | Why the fall on the news - eps is at 14p per share? The acquisition falls outside the reporting period being decvalred on 20th Sept - any clues? Have people mistaken this annoucnement for the pending results? | silverfern
13/9/2005 07:47 | Charles Stanley have upped 2006 eps forecast by nearly 20% already I am told - might account for a bit of the recent strength. CR | cockneyrebel
12/9/2005 19:34 | I'll try for 308p, I'll be cracking a tin anyway | money4me
12/9/2005 13:28 | hard to call - but they are going to be singing about the acquisition and earnings enhancement and the acquisition has only started being factored in from around 260p so little more than 2p earnings next year been factored in for that so far imo. CR | cockneyrebel
12/9/2005 12:35 | Will continue upwards towards next Tuesday - up a bit each day methinks. Any predictions for mid price next Monday? I'm plumming for £3.22. | bernieboy
12/9/2005 12:06 | yep, couple of sellers turned up but the mm's taking them at a premium - buyer still out there imo. CR | cockneyrebel
12/9/2005 10:40 | Patience is being rewarded. | this_is_me
12/9/2005 09:41 | I agree. 'Significantly' suggests it could be way more than 15% minimum I think it will add and when you look at the sector, the ngrowth in that sector and the amount the Agility already make it suggest it could be a fair ould wack more. Should be upgrade across the boardsat these results. The buyer seems in the market still - or results have beenm leaked a bit imo. CR | cockneyrebel
12/9/2005 09:33 | Yes it's the 'significantly' bit that caught my eye, not least because Chelford's current business is growing. So buying something that merely matches current growth ain't 'significant' if you follow me. Anyway, I 'm hoping these results will re-categorise the company away from the 'penny' image; coupled with what now looks like a smart move to re-capitalise the shares this time last year and it all looks good. | silverfern
12/9/2005 05:41 | FWIW Chelford have a new front page on their web site at www.chelfordgroup.co | aspex
09/9/2005 17:52 | I still think they have a large buy to fill - the 14K is a sell so 29K sells and 10K buys yet it's up 8.5p - must be a larger buy out there imo. Worth looking at the valuation imo. 20p forecast for the year ahead. I suspect CHR are on the way to beating the 17.9p forecast for this year which (leaving the recent acquisition aside for the moment) would probably see that 22p eps for next year upped to 22p. Then there's the acquisition of Agility. CHR say "We expect Agility to be earnings neutral in 2005 and significantly earnings enhancing in 2006." "Significantly Earnings Enhancing" to me means a fair bit more than 10% boost to earnings. If you only add 3p to 2006 eps you're looking at 25p next year, a PE of 11, way below sector average. 14.6p eps 2004 to 17.5p 2005 to 25p 2006 is pretty excellent growth on a forward PE of 11, way below the sector average. And there might be a bit more than that to come once we see the results. You can see where Charles Stanley get a target of £4 from. CR | cockneyrebel
09/9/2005 17:25 | I must admit that it has been nice watching the shareprice the last few weeks - up a bit nearly every day. Slowly but steadily and I agree that we will be over £3 by the 20th September. Liking CHR a lot at the moment! £4, £5 whatever in years to come.... | bernieboy
09/9/2005 17:01 | we got a runner | money4me
09/9/2005 11:23 | Their back to the old game, 'delay' in showing trades. pc | pc4900074200
09/9/2005 11:21 | 25K sells, 7K buys, price up 8.5p I reckon we'll see a very large buy show up later CR | cockneyrebel
09/9/2005 08:31 | I hear the steady murmur of a gently following breeze. Break out the spinnaker. | aspex
09/9/2005 08:15 | MM buying :-) CR | cockneyrebel
08/9/2005 12:51 | I agree silverfern, got more myself yesterday too :-) There are some stocks that look a buy and others that look a screaming buy - I keep adding to my screamers like this one :-) CR | cockneyrebel
08/9/2005 12:12 | Cant be much stock about if you have to pay a 2p premium for just 2000 shares. | tole
07/9/2005 12:37 | I've just bought quite a lot, for me, adding to my purchases at 200p and 212p a while back. Of course I should have bought at 147 after Xmas but I am am much more confident that the company is on track to grow considerably now over the next two years. The last results were not bad but it was still jam tomorrow I think this time round we will see a new company emerging | silverfern
07/9/2005 10:42 | Off and running now :) | tole |
