You are probably correct with that comment and can still sign up for the open offer shares which won’t be listed until 23rd December. Let’s see if our Christmas present is worth more than 7p by then!

The shares from the placing will be listed tomorrow and available to trade so not too surprising that the share price is sitting just above 7p. These things tend to follow a pattern. We can then have confirmation of the spud and the share price can start to push north again.

BHA should have been made up on the tow, conductor, 20" casing and guide bases ready. Spud tomorrow evening is my prediction unless sticking to rules on BHA being make up.

I had promised myself not to invest another penny in Char but as you say the open offer seemed to good to miss so I took it up. Never again - this time I really mean it.

Every CHAR open offer over the past few years has followed the same pattern. Share price climbs nicely for a couple of weeks before the offer record date. Punters convinced to participate 'cause it looks like a "no brainer". Soon after they take up the offer, share price falls back to below offer level. Every time! Uncanny, eh?

They recently raised funds to go back into the discovery well for enhanced exploration and can only think that will include flow testing?

First up though is to try to prove up the "u" classified reserves which could demonstrate 1 TCF of gas in place. Going deeper too (from memory). If successful will allow a farm-out and then they will likely look at debt funding from the MOU signed already. Total probably nudging management.

Who said 14p on spud? Thats pure pump n dump. The well ain't gonna tell us anything. Its too close to the exploration well and they ain't testing it. Waste of money if you ask me. And who is gonna lend half a billion for the development? I'm not seeing an investment case here.

What is going on here ? Down 6.5% on all the great news and potential in next few days ? Another excuse of some kind, rights issue, bad weather, rig took a wrong turn, anchors slipping, stopped for papers, whatever it is it looks bad on the eve of greatness. Not deramping just realist. 14p on spud eh ? 😂😂😂 You know who you are.

I've no problem with that each to there own, I'm just pointing out why I think the share price has dropped, Rig should be on site later today and spud a few days later. Looking forward to 2022

stevedd3 I shouldn't worry A world class suite of opportunities are in play here As for sellers and how they fund purchases ...so be it. So much good news to come.

I just mentioned this on the Telegram group and got vilified.
I actually sold a few more than my open offer allocation last week and applied for excess - my holding was already overweight so no problem if I get scaled back and if I don't then I make a small profit by selling close to 8p and buying them back for 7p.

The Stena Don is approaching the coast of Morocco and should reach its destination later today on schedule. It should be an important week for CHAR as we get ever closer to the spud.

Who said i have lost money ?, on the contrary but my issue is with Rampers who state where the share price is going to go after certain events have happened when in fact they dont have a clue like the rest of us. How many have lost money since the 14p on spud comment while at 6p ?

Brazilnut, I have never predicted 14p for this share. And what qualifies you to be judge, jury and executioner, warning off green investors? You continually bleat about losing money on this share so you are hardly someone that other people should be taking investing advice from. You sound like the worst kind of investor, unwilling to accept your own mistakes and blaming others. In the time I've been invested here and watched you bash, I am up 80%.
I suspect the truth is you work for a hedge fund.
