Deal for 10GW Project Nour green hydrogen scheme could be wrapped up by March next year Project Nour Mauritania The proposed project covers two exclusive onshore solar licences and an offshore wind tract, which cover a total area of about 14,400 square kilometres, some 5000 square kilometres bigger than Cyprus. Speaking to Upstream at the end of October, Chariot's acting chief executive Adonis Pouroulis said: "We will bring in a partner within five months. We are talking to some people." "We caught the attention of some big players with the announcement of the green hydrogen project in Mauritania - and all of a sudden there are inbound calls." He said Chariot does not have the balance sheet to progress Project Nour on its own, so it needs a big player with a solid financial base "At 10GW, it's too big a project for Chariot on its own so it will be developed by a consortium. The big thing for us is to form a consortium. You need the 'big bucks' balance sheet." Pouroulis is excited about the potential development but cautioned that "anyone who says they know how the hydrogen economy is going to evolve - they're not speaking the truth." However, based on clean hydrogen playing a part in the world's future energy mix, he added: "We needed to secure a hydrogen asset early because the big fight is for space, acreage, land. That's why Mauritania is important." He said the country has "three exceptional things" going for it: some of best wind power density in the world off the country's north coast; high solar radiation potential; and its proximity to markets in Europe. He said the produced hydrogen could either be exported as a liquid or as ammonia, pointing out the scheme could produce about 600,000 tonnes per annum of hydrogen. Nouadhibou, a deep-sea port just north of Chariot's offshore wind licence, "is a decent port" and could potentially export the hydrogen, said Pouroulis. Pre-feasibility studies are under way to drill down into the project requirements and flag up any issues related to the environmental impact of the project. Pouroulis said this work will help assess the environmental impact of installing so much wind and solar infrastructure on things such as land use, soil erosion and bird migration. Power from the solar panels and wind farm would be sent to a desalination plant on the coast to generate clean water for electrolysis - the process through which hydrogen is produced. Pouroulis - through Chariot and Pella Resources, a founding shareholder in Chariot - has been in Mauritania since 2011, has spent $30 million there and has a good relationship with the government. "We found gold and iron ore for Mauritania and have delivered in the past," he said. Chariot has traditionally been involved in the upstream sector, but this year dropped oil and gas from the company name and target opportunities in the energy transition. In essence, the company currently has a gas and exploration business focused on Morocco, and a renewable power business. Asked if the power business could be hived off into an independent company, he told Upstream: "The business could be split but let's give it a year to 18 months and we will see what happens. Currently, there are great synergies."

A potential 1TCF gas well with A&B Sands alone at 100% chance worth 45p . Even a third of that will see 15p. Not to mention other zones, green hydrogen project in Mauritania, Other energy projects with Total, Namibia and Brazil .Bring on the drill

Reason Im negative is because i have been let down by this and other small oilies, including this one after being told streets were paved with gold that turned out to be quartz or oily water. I cant get involved in your froth but hope your correct although your input doesnt add much to any argument. Imagine you are easily baffled anyway.

From LSERE: RNS: Rig MobilisationToday 08:10Indeed game on.Arrival 14th, I call spud 16th, A and B sands will be initially hit by around Xmas - Boxing Day day or a day or so later, IMO.So for those in ADV, with your latest rig delays , results are going to come in from our 100% natural gas GCOS targets before your 95% GCOS oil target. Some were quite confident ADV would be results first vs Chariot , not the case now it seems.Bring on the drill..A and B sands alone, fully proven and 100% GCOS are all that is needed to verify to make Anchois fully commercial ...deeper low risk reservoir targets from 67% to 46% GCOS just magnify the longevity of the project.A and B sands being drilled 150 mtr updip of proven excellent , high flowing, excellent quality gas sand reservoirs. The updip locations all show exactly the same seismic attributes as the existing proven drill into the A and B sands ....IMVHO, The last laugh here ( and it is going to be big, very big) is going to be had by those not being effected by the clear manipulation and trading of this stock after taking into account the risk reward scenarios of the results, from this current poor share price price it has been driven down to.One word of advise , if you have decided to hold do not be affected by the games that will be going on if the company is going to drill tight hole, which I believe it will be doing. I have emailed the company , of which I got a good reply , that the company needs to be very clear to the market and shareholders just how reporting will be done , existing shareholders who are in for the longer story deserve to know and be assured that the company needs to have no market ambiguity in how and when they intend to report through out the well , this includes when they hit the A and the B sands, This will not stop the manipulation, it will however give shareholders reassurance that undue scaremongering cannot be executed by those with clear agendas .. game on , the most exciting time for Chariot in its history IMO, even more than the wild cat drills, of which this is 100% not. Appraisal , up dip, commercial , very low risk additional reservoir sands , the focus words.

Ye but little reaction to what is old news. With nothing new until rig gets to Morocco this could drift right back down to anywhere. If previous posts are to be believed, no well testing on this well ? Anyone know why this could be. My understanding is that an appraisal well is to prove up certain info they "think exists". How they do that without testing ?
