Why would the government nationalise the banks? The UK banks are in good shape.

They are in a better position than 2008.

The world governments understand the deflation arguement that's why they are printing like there is no tomorrow.

Everytime the fed stops printing the markets pull back.

I'm weary there is an election in November so there could be massive printing to come before then so being short DOW may not be a good idea.

What usually moves gold is confidence or lack of it, Christmas 1979 gold doubled in 25 days Russia invaded afghanistan, what will really get going is when governments start nationalising the banks. Fear is a greater than greed.

Gold will take off properly when inflation comes. I have looked at the long term gold chart, it was in 1970s when Gold rallied big and the DOW declined.

I think in the current decade at somepoint Gold will take off we need to watch the Fed and inflation.

When we have loads of inflation I want to be in Gold and Oil in a big way.

We have to watch what the Fed is saying, if they decide to print more money than I would expect the markets to rally up and gold will follow.

If the Fed pulls back the stimulus we will get deflation in which case I would expect everything to drop including Gold and Silver.


In a deflationary environment the Fed can keep printing. as much as they want and the debt can get bigger than where we are...But when Inflation comes and it will come in a big way it is the time to be in Gold and the Gold miners.

I am not in Gold in a big way because I think the central banks are trying to deal with deflation.


Maybe the next depression will be in 2029 as part of the 10 year depression cycle when there is so much debt and high interest rates it can't be serviced......

But the price is no where near 1600. just because the dow goes down doesnt mean gold will, as if the dow goes up it doesnt mean gold will, and if you look at the last 12 yrs gold and dow have gone their separate most of the time

Board of Directors cash reduction of fees and salaries by 50%, replaced by share awards. - it see monthly shares issuances at those low levels just to give a lot of shares to BoD. No reduction of pay at all. Short 50% will be covered on a monthly basis by the existing shareholders. Cash level decreased by per 2.5m in last 6 months. No income generated. BoD are so greedy in those difficult to industry times.
