Thanks Chestnuts

I am going to go with this is the decline we have been talking about rather than a rally up again...

Anyway - Is the gold standard reset coming that you keep talking about? Is Trump going to Cancel China's debt? He is talking very funny

It stopped short of my target 25129, so it could have 1 more wave up yet and could bounce around 23350 ish and then go to 25129 ish but its possible that its already topped.

Not sure which i favour the most but watch for the turn.

Silver

I did look at silver over 10 yrs ago and believe it or not during the last 100 yrs at strategic times ie 1933/ 1934 1968 1971 silver as been roughly .0454 at the moment its .00898
So silver as to climb by 5 fold to equal 1971.62 (when Nixon took usa off a Gold Standard )
The first time silver actually was used as a currency in China was in 1035 , in Sept 1935 China came off the silver standard

So 2020.55 July this yr minus 1035 = 985.55yrs

From 1935.7 to 2020.55 = 84.85 yrs

84.85 divided by 985.55 = .08609

I think gold is going to 8602

Whats special about 8602

8.602 yrs = 3142 days

If silver went back to the percentage over the last few yrs it would go to $1978.

I have traded gold a few times and just sold my spread bet at 1670, as there is a pattern which could take it down to 1647.

yes they dumped paper gold

Why doesn't paper gold trade the same as physical gold? Physical gold is always more expensive than paper gold.

I think you bought spreadbet on Gold at $1677 chestnuts?

I got in at $1680 this morning so let's say we have similar positions.

What would make you close your spreadbet? There is a lot of support below current prices from looking at the charts...

USA is a lame duck and wounded if they cancelled any treasuries the chinese may just decide to dump them and buy gold on the open market and ask for delivery this would break the Banks in the USA and UK.

So USA have to be careful

Also who said some one as dumped a load of gold which i doubt.

Chestnuts

As I understand someone dumped a lot of gold on the markets today to push the gold price down.....

What do you think will happen if the Americans decided to cancel the debt they owe to the Chinese?

Chinese holds loads of treasuries...Trump would say to the Chinese due to the Virus it has cost the US a lot of money so to get even he cancels the debt owed to the Chinese....

Have you ever heard the rumour that J P Morgan as been cornering the silver market, and we dont know if this is true but one reason being is that History shows that China have always prefered a silver standard and by JP Morgan cornering the market with silver is that if China did go on a silver standard , the yanks could flood the market with silver and ruin the party.

Bank in China means silver house

Gold looks like a giant cup and handle , and the handle could be forming at the moment, if you put a fib on the c wave is 61.8% of the a wave of the triangle.

On a cup and handle its not uncommon for the handle to be a triangle.

I am not annoyed

Nothing as changed yes the dow came down from todays high and today gold followed or just went down.

It doesn't matter, I think you are annoyed because Gold went down, no need to take it out on me.

Anyway I think DOW looking bullish we have had a pull back today, the rally of the March lows looks like a nice Elliot Wave Pattern...and I think markets going to build on this over the next few months....

If we are going to visit the March lows it probably won't happen until we get to October as that is when volatility increases.

I asked for your opinion chestnuts given the drop the past few days. Your outlined two scenarios a bull and bear, it is not clear which one is playing out so I was asking what you thought based on recent price action.

I trade long term, but monitor short term as that makes up the long term.

I am still very bullish on gold but you dont seem to be very patient i trade for long term not just for 2 days , so please dont come chasing me every where , Now if your spread bet as gone wrong for the moment thats unfortunate , but you trade as you see fit, and if you come writing like you did on the JTC thread again i will filter you and find some where else to post.

Gold

THe usa first went on a gold standard in May 1879 and then came off June 1933 then back on in Jan 1934 then back off in Aug 1871

well when you add up the days on it is exactly 40% of 228.3

so we have another 40/60 split
