22/9/2016 16:43 | the price is going up fast and we don't know why.... | cinques
22/9/2016 14:50 | So what is happening here. | ![]() shakudo
22/9/2016 11:41 | There is a lot of pumping and dumping going on in Aim shares. I commented that at 6p this was trading at a substantial discount to its cash. That has now corrected. But so far as the future is concerned, talk of speculative drilling in a year or two is irrelevant in a market which refuses to recognise fair value for the many companies which have successfully drilled and have proven resources and cash. | ![]() leedskier
22/9/2016 10:28 | Aimimg then. "Chariot currently has four "drill-ready" prospects within its portfolio and is aiming to drill three in the next two years, it said." | ![]() nick rubens
22/9/2016 10:26 | A much higher oil price would be the only catalyst to keep this going imo. Still, very good rise all the same. | ![]() philo124
22/9/2016 09:32 | They are drilling three wells in the next two years. Investors are moving in before the crowd arrives. These could be going back to the 50p - 100p levels as forecasts and target valuations for wells start getting branded about. Action at last. Might as well sit back and let them run longer term IMO. | ![]() nick rubens
22/9/2016 09:26 | What is mkt cap versus cash? and any potential Farm Ins that will bring in more cash? cheers NR | ![]() nick rubens
22/9/2016 08:59 | The market cap now exceeds the cash. | ![]() leedskier
22/9/2016 08:53 | Reasons for rise? Isn't cash far in excess of mkt cap for starters and even after todays rise? Takeover possibilities? Any more Farm Ins? Eventual drilling? | ![]() nick rubens
22/9/2016 08:18 | Incredible....it's still going up like a rocket! | cinques
21/9/2016 13:44 | Cinques I agree with everything you have written. The problem is that fundamentals are counting for very little in this market! | ![]() leedskier
21/9/2016 12:37 | But who'd have thought that Chariot would nearly double in a week on an RNS that says "we've got some money and we're hoping to drill some expensive wells in the next few years, but we have absolutely nothing definite at the moment" ??? It would have been a trade that I'd have sold out of after a 15% gain and counted myself as lucky! And then to have watched it double.... Personally, I'd sooner be in a trade where I know the fundamentals are sound and I can hang on for longer and get better gains as I believe that any move has substance. (IOG was a recent example.) | cinques
21/9/2016 12:12 | Perhaps the answer is simply to go with the flow and ignore the details. | ![]() leedskier
21/9/2016 12:04 | Aim seems to be all about momentum and there is little regard to fundamentals. P&D trading. | ![]() leedskier
21/9/2016 11:47 | crazy stuff.... | cinques
21/9/2016 11:25 | There is an article by a chartist on three I, which refers back to their historic and accurate prediction of it reaching 200p, and suggests that once it crosses 15p or so, it could again moonshot. But that is based on charts and tea leaves and is not based on fundamentals. Do I believe it? Not without a serious move up in the price of oil. | ![]() leedskier
20/9/2016 09:33 | ...and it's still going up!!! | cinques
19/9/2016 20:18 | I'm saying that I ain't touching it until a drill date gets announced. If the drill is off West Africa, I may buy. If it's off Brazil, I may buy quite a few depending on who the farm out partner is. If it's off Namibia, I probably won't bother as that place will never have a decent chance of success and will never be developed, imho. No, Brazil is the interesting one. Let's see what the neighbour finds. As for Bottomley and that cretin before him, management is lame here. | cinques
19/9/2016 19:39 | If a drill date ever gets announced by CHAR, then yeah, it could be a good buy in the run up to the drill. But otherwise, nah. | cinques
19/9/2016 19:16 | It is a scam. True, now is the time to do deep water drilling, with rig rates low. I just can not accept they are that intelegant. | ![]() 11_percent
19/9/2016 18:52 | edit - just saw your latest post - brilliant :-) | cinques |
