14/3/2013 20:51 | They will not dilute. They have sufficient funds to go through 2014, and one farm in will very easily do the trick. Chariot have been very successful in getting farm-in's. I am totally relaxed. Now why would someone do this? I can guess, but it would probably start a conspiracy theory... | hedgebetter
14/3/2013 19:52 | CEObob, has a point. They wil need to issue more shares to make it work. The hedge funds have too many, and are playing "hard ball" ie. they are now the blocker. Don't know, but likey senario, is, Take the share price up to say, 40p, do the issue ...to IIs...friendly ones. | ![]() wild_goose

13/3/2013 10:31 | iii-cheers 10:19 Namibia's oil and gas exploration gains ... preciousmaj 1 Namibia's oil and gas exploration gains momentum The Transocean Marianas has recently left the port of Walvis Bay after extensive maintenance and preparation work was carried out for the rig's envisaged exploration drilling work near Walvis Bay. The rig will lay in the bay for a few more days for testing before she sets sail in a north westerly direction the first targeted drilling area. "Things have moved apace in the oil and gas industry in Namibia. We are very excited about the year ahead", said Cronjé Grane of Manica's Oil and Gas division, about the recent developments in Namibia's budding oil and gas sector. Grane is stationed in Lüderitz to oversee the logistics support to the Brazilian oil company, HRT's drilling campaign. Last year two wells were drilled by the oil company Chariot; one in the northern block near the Angolan border and the other close to Lüderitz. These wells, however, did not produce the desired result, and further drilling of wells is planned for 2013 and 2014. According to the General Manager for Manica Oil and Gas, Patrick Kohlstaedt, the group's diverse service portfolio is geared for the most stringent of requirements. "In the oil and gas sector, we have been involved in all shore base and drill unit attendances in Namibia since the start of exploration activities in the 70's. Since then the needs of such exploration and drilling campaigns have changed, and we as logistics support, had to adapt and expand our service range," he said. Although a lot of hype was created in the media in the past year about the thousands of jobs the industry would create, Namibia's oil and gas industry has started up very slowly. "This is because the logistics of getting everything in place is immense. Even before the actual drilling starts, seismic readings and other exploration work has to be carried out, and it is very expensive. Oil companies often have to find investors, rigs and suitable personnel before they can start with operations," said Paul Wolff, another member of the oil and gas team. "It's still early to say how Namibia's oil and gas industry will affect the country's economy, as many of the prospective oil companies are foreign. What we can say is that Namibians will benefit from the industry as it will create job opportunities and generate revenue in various other sectors, and not only in logistics. From our side we ensure that we use only Namibian suppliers as far as we can," he added The first well to be drilled is known as PEL 23 Wingat-1 in approximately 1005m of water and about 100 sea miles northwest of Walvis Bay. From there the rig is bound for Namibia's southern port where Manica will also provide cargo logistics services to the drilling campaign from Lüderitz. Apart from the normal logistics services, Manica Oil and Gas also assisted the drilling campaigns with acquiring land, importing specialised equipment and drilling material, providing technical and logistics support to oil companies such as Chariot, Petrobras, and of late the Brazilian oil giant, HRT. 11/3/2013 08:36 | Yep. Congratulations to CEOBOB, Coch570, Welshki, Forlorn15. I guess they got what they wanted. Fortunately there are now OTHER places to get information and it could not have come at a better time. Let's put this into perspective. A few guys - some with multiple aliases and OCD - who would get ignored down the pub have hogged the iii board for reasons that only they know. Compare with www.helioschariot.co Oh and CEOBOB is officially a loonie. His latest postings confirm that he has lost the plot completely and is not worth reading at all. Ramblings of a broken man emanate from him. I have a vision of him sitting in the corner inspecting his belly button for inspiration. . Enough. I really do not give a monkeys about his conspiracy 'theories'...lol | hedgebetter

10/3/2013 15:03 | "Recent estimates suggest offshore Namibia contains about 166 billion barrels of original oil in place (OOIP). The mean prospective resources are of about 42.6 billion barrels of oil and 128.8 Tcf (3.6 T cubic meters) of gas prospective resources. This result could locate offshore Namibia as one of the larger oil and gas resources container in West Africa coast." So ...errr... either all these companies geologists and money men have got it completely wrong, or some of the OCD III BB posters with no back up research have got it right... hehe... | hedgebetter
