14/10/2012 12:06 | This is the kind of article hub would write here... no news for 6 months, bla bla bla.... these guys simply do not even read the latest presentation. | ![]() cherisher
14/10/2012 11:04 | Good point HB... the magazine may not be completely impartial. | ![]() triples
14/10/2012 10:57 | Hi Triples, Short time-scales and betting...that ls what spreadbetting magazine is about, I am not a better, and I am not looking at short time-scales. I am just cautious of a magazine that takes long position in some oilers and putting a mildly negative spin on others...maybe I need to 'trust' more...then again :-) | hedgebetter
14/10/2012 10:42 | Morning HB, How about mildly positive? or mildly negative? I guess it depends on your own view. "Despite the progress, don't expect an ignition in Chariot's battered share price any time soon. The lack of luck with the drill bit has set back the company's ambitions and a significant re-rating will probably be elusive for some time. For those with short time scales, there are better bets out there right now." | ![]() triples
14/10/2012 09:38 | Hi Triples - I read the spreadbet link - but this is probably from Richard Jennings who owns spreadbet magazine and also posts on various ADVFN forums RJENNINGS (I think). At the end of the day - he knows as little or as much as the rest of us. I am not sure you can call it 'neutral' tbh. SBM (or Richard) also has open Long positions in many oilers. I am always hesitant in these circumstances. The timelines issued in the presentation at the time of the Chariot interim's is a good indicator of RNS's to come. Plenty this remaining 2.5 months of 2012. | hedgebetter
13/10/2012 19:32 | Triples. I think they are very wrong as I believe we will see some share price change in the near future. 3D sesimics on centrals should be out this month, if I'm not mistaken. Once they are out, data room opens for farm-ins (maybe we will have to settle for more than 25%, maybe not, no one knows). Confirmation of Nimrod 2 by year end (I believe this is a strong possibility since PB want to continue with us). Above all these, we should also expect holding's RNS soon, possibly BoD deals and maybe a t/o since all the ingredients for a t/o are there . I believe there's enough to look forward to that can cause at least a 50% increase on today's share price My target of a minimum of 45p by christmas remains. Have a good weekend Charions. ALl I know is I wouldn't want to be out of CHAR over the weekend (I'm holding with an average of 32p and will top-up as soon as more funds become available to me). GLA | ![]() pedramp
13/10/2012 18:39 | repo Here's a more neutral view: | ![]() triples
13/10/2012 13:04 | To be honest I feel lucky to be buying in significant amounts at these levels. I have been reading the MPE Moroccan document - we have just got another fantastic string to the bow. Accumulate while there is blood on the floor before the masses arrive to buy in. Happy to wait for RNS's. | hedgebetter
13/10/2012 11:43 | i dont think anyone is missing hub here. like you say in polite french "aurevoir et a dieu hub" :-) | ![]() cherisher
13/10/2012 11:09 | Yep well done. I can't say that I miss the muppet show too much. Sensible critical comment over Namibia and CHAR still welcome though because it helps to see what the downside could be. repo | lanaken
13/10/2012 10:52 | "corporate review"--Excellent stuff. Namibia alone "Resource Potential Identified: ― Un-risked mean prospective resource potential of 14.5 Bbbls (gross) 10.7 Bbbls (net to Chariot) LOL Mckcap £59.09m---Cash $100m(£62M+) Namibia Mauritania Morocco In for free, nil, nought, zilc Char "could" imo be one of the largest baggers for quite some time, from these levels with a little bit of luck with Dr.Drill, either for Char or HRT et al. Great read that presentation--Cheers | ![]() fairenough11
13/10/2012 10:34 | Like it Triples. This is becoming a really good informative, and 'sensible' board... | hedgebetter

12/10/2012 08:21 | Morning all. This looks as though it could be coming out of the doldroms. | peteh1
12/10/2012 08:01 | Anyone being flushed out now probably bought at a higher level. Anyway, they may think their money can work harder elsewhere. Their choice and I'd do the same on some shares, but not this one. | ![]() triples
12/10/2012 07:35 | You just need to have patience and not purchased your shares on a T-trade, then you can sit back and relax. Edit: Oh and remove any stops and have cash aside to top-up in the event of the MM's giving it a push down to flush out more holders (I won't call them weak as everyone has their own strategy). AIMHO of course | ![]() stockriser
11/10/2012 22:55 | Diehard still holding here! | markymanc
11/10/2012 20:58 | Is there any weak holders left ?!? This seems to of been going on so long I'd be surprised its not just the diehards left ! | ![]() dodger777
11/10/2012 20:29 | It happens - and not just with Chariot. Let's see what happens tomorrow. Probably back to the grind of MMs squeezing out weak holders. | ![]() triples
11/10/2012 20:20 | triples then why the terrible crossing trade well under bid? doesn't make any sense | ![]() newswseller
11/10/2012 20:02 | You could well be right. If Chariot has friends in high places, then that leverage works to our advantage. I'd sooner have a chunk of Chariot shares with the scope for big upside than the same value of BP shares. Regarding the last 15 minutes of trading today, the bid was loading up fast and the ask/offer was thinning out rapidly.... and not just because the price moved up a few ticks. Orders were getting pulled from the ask really quickly. The volume shot up too with some chunky 'O' buys going in with little or no discount. | ![]() triples |
