Morning guys, good charting going on here!

Just to let you know have just gone short (Dow) at 10342.

After yesterdays pull back from 10190 ish (had a long position from 200 up to the close!) I do not see much upside to the current level, I think it very likely that a re visit of yesterdays lows in on the cards.
Will not let it run away from me on the upside if wrong!

We will see.

Note that the C of the C rise, (not shown) in the chart below is an extended 5th wave with expanding diagonal. The fall should be dramatic...even worse (lower) than the sketch indicated,.... eventually....

Nav whats the matter with you ...hiding the EPIC .... you are hidding the rest? You always need every piece of data available. R You daft? In EWs you need to see the higher order count in order to see where the lower order is going....

kash, 98% of traders have lost most of their moneys. In order to learn to be a trader, better to learn with other peoples moneys first if possible, OR you have endless supply. That is why I asked you what do you do. I am not trying to be mosey. Now you have to convince yourself that you are one of the 2% in some special way.
As far as not catching the whole move....fear not there is moves EVERY time. You might be better off catching 10% of the moves all the time than ONE huge move once in a while. You style develops for you and its not going to be like mine or other peoples. I am not the best trader. I may like charts and you may think I am good at it, others such as tpaul think otherwise. Whatever I am not as good a trader as I would like. Not because of technical issues but of character issues. You need stomach to hold on to a position. By the way i am not full time on this either. Best of luck

morning, i work full time at the moment for one of the Bank's, but looking to get out , been studing and attending seminars at ig and td waterhouse. Those guys really don't have a clue about the indicatore like MACD ,Stochastic etc and they look at very long term charts.

in fact they ara adamant that you can't make a living out of day trading or predicitng charts like the way you and Nav can read.I'm really impressed, at the moment i always get the entry points wrong.

one good thing is i don't panic now, even if DJI falls 250 pips, before i would have got out at a loss but am learning, although the hard way. if i was at home yesterday , i would have gone long from 10200, but always miss out.

guys please keep posting charts with comment as where you feel it's heading,
