Strange very low volume today - only 9 trades with no sells and only 9 buys

Volume of GBP6300 as of mid-day GMT!!!

My biggest concern is given the dodgy self dealing nature of AP - some swindle is in the works!!!

Note the buy-out at CHAR at a very generous price for a nonsense minor African country start-up water firm!!! Others were conveying it is a bail-out of a friend of AP!!!

Or a generous payout for AP - for his South Africa electricity trading license ownership share when cash is precious for CHAR!!!

And so on!!!

None of AP's firms have done well other than himself!!!

It is a high risk share that could enter administration - makes sense to de-risk!!!

Feel awful about cutting at 2.5 year lows - however, when a firm has a funding crunch could lose it all / and felt best to hedge bets.

I SOLD 50% OF MY REMAINING CHAR HOLDING AT A 30% LOSS!!!

Overall in profit as had taken profits on more than half my holding at 15.5p from my original 10p buy!!!

Nobody will buy Chariot. Certainly not enog. They will wait for Chariot to fail or will cash call them into oblivion. Then get the asset for nowt.

I do not know the person who talked to ap , but his previous posts have seemed genuine .

Having been in a similar situation to chariot previously, if you did not have funding well advanced, then you would do a placing to buy some time . They chose not to do a placing even after the Dartois gas discovery, to be validated by flow test.

Clearly it’s not ideal , perhaps Ap is providing interim finance , he is not going to let chariot go under being so close to sustainable cash flows both onshore and offshore, in my view.

No mention of a placing was made in yesterday’s RNS and that has also been confirmed verbally by the CEO to numerous well respected shareholder’s. There is no plans for a placing.

Funding will come as advised in the RNS.

Sellers have just lost a packet here.

Meanwhile onshore FT in Q3 and Stena Forth reaches Las Palmas tomorrow. Fitting out for Anchois campaign , the biggest and largest discovery in Morocco’ s history and likely to grow far bigger in a few months time.

Hopefully the sale is off the entire company to Energean for sales or a piece meal sale of Anchois for Energean shares and a spin-off / asset level funding for the other "pillars"

At the end of the day - Anchois is worth more than current share price!!!

No brainer take-over for Energean - also note in final results Char mentioned that a number of staff are on secondment to Energean.

In his Twitter/X blurb yesterday AP conveyed how Energean has the same "culture" as Chariot - i.e. both the Greek CEO's enjoy the Ouzo together and are Bros ;)

From the Final Results RNS - it appears funding in place :)

"Conclusion

The forecast indicates that there will be a cash deficit from July 2024. To manage this the directors mitigating actions include cutting discretionary expenditure and deferring creditor payments until funding across the business at an asset, subsidiary or Group level are successful, however, it also acknowledges that this short term funding is not, at the present time, in place....

....Based on feedback from ongoing financing discussions, the Directors have made a judgement that the necessary funds to adequately finance the Group's obligations will be secured and that the Group will continue to realise its assets and discharge its liabilities in the normal course of business."

The key issue is that the directors believe funding will be available.

A member of the telegram group contacted Ap who confirmed there will not be a placing, and that asset sales are getting strong interest.

Jimmy, as you are full of now seemingly useless info since the start do you have anymore words of wisdom that the bod are telling you to share with us. Your technical expertise has been complicated and incorrect most of the time so Chariot has to be your employer.
