The thing about the clangers is that because it has such a strong connection for the now adults, it won't be just children who are buying them.
The clangers should do very well in the UK but it is the global sale of the products that is the game changer for Character.

Thanks scrurbs, I hadn't looked back to see that they had updates before September, with consensus broker EPS estimates at 38.0p which look way too low, then I would agree that they will want to update the market earlier.

July and August sales are very important to full year results, but if they are tracking comfortably above expectations they may seek to correct market expectations before the end of August (perhaps late July). They have done this a number of times in the past.

Period end is 31st August, so I would think the trading update will be in September. I think management will be keen to give an update on progress, so I would expect early September.

Worth noting that Peppa Pig has now been televised for 11 years and it took 3 to 4 years after airing on TV to gain traction in sales.

Most people will not realise the upside here until it is too late.

The latest is that the Teletubbies are moving across French networks and those of the French territories around the world.

All part of the global roll out.

I am an investor, but in my opinion the market is due for a correction which may last for 18-24 months. 2% is a big deal when you consider the current yield on bonds. In a downturn this is not the sort of company to be in, but it does look good for now.

Only a poor trader would trade CCT in the short term. If you are an investor, then surely you'd believe it will be far higher in the next 18-24 months; so does it really matter?

2% seems no big deal when you take a look at the chart above. Grexit, well who knows? Market seems to been held back by the possibility for sure, but how about a non-Grexit?

The problem with this share is the huge spread at a time of uncertainty in markets generally. It takes a move up of 2% just to break even. I like this company and have made a profit in the past, but right now timing is everything. Coupled with its illiquidity and imminent Grexit, I would hate to get caught with pants down.

higher pound higher profits/ as recovery against dollar developed since april,
like last year , more to bottom line.
