Looking at todays update on what's going to be presented, one can see why Morgan Stanley have not only taken a sizeable stake in Challenger but continue to increase. I believe we are also due another TR1.If you also consider what Chevron paid for their farm out of area OFF 1 which still has to undergo a seismic assessment (they paid cash of £12.5m for 60 percent, what value is AREA OFF 3 with all of the seismic data completed? Now look at Challengers current Market Cap and there is a huge disconnect between current value and why they've stated OFF1 values at 25pps without even considering OFF3 and there other assests. |
And a cheeky 250k ...I'm struggling to understand why anyone would sell given their cash position, chevron deal and value that aligns to that JV.They've openly stated the next block is worth more as the seismic is already done and why would t chevron also take a farm out ? |
Agree - excellent interview. In my view, they have made the right moves in offloading T&T assets and bringing Chevron in.It gives me huge confidence that Charlestown Capital and Robert Bose are also invested here. They are the key backers behind Sintana Energy. Bose is CEO of Sintana. They have had and continue to have huge success in Namibia (another big discovery announced in their offshore Orange basin block earlier this week).Cash |

As much as I hate to admit it ...This is actually a decent interview with some perceptive questions - Looks like seismic is 2025 - not necessarilyQ1 - unlikely |

As a thought ... if MS was purchasing on behalf of a third party- another major shareholder perhaps - at what point would a mandatory takeover bid be a possibility? |
Major shareholders - before most recent Morgan Stanley investment...

I'm surprised there hasn't been more peeps jumping on the coat tails of Morgan Stanley given the obvious and deliberate increase in their holding and given the transactions to date, it doesn't feel like they've finished anytime soon. The analysis stated from a T&A perspective a next leg to the 16p region and that's based on fundementals with the golden cross and the treble bounce of the RSI 50. If MS are keen to climb to above 10%, they're going to accept paying into the double figures to average up! |
MS still buying ... up to 7.135572%Should start to have an effect on share price this RNS- intent is clear |
More chunky bits from the 25th being 2.1m across three transactions |
Yes Disgraced Compulsive Liar 12bn- read those prices and weep - for anyone who took your advice to sell their shares at 2p ( 0.04p in pre consolidation money ) on the basis YOU didn’t believe the Chevron farm out would happen, based on your trolling instinct !
Often 2/3 posts per day trolling CEG - where are you now 12bn? |
Actually on checking the trades from yesterday, one looks like a rollover and the other two look like 2 purchases especially the one at 11:43 - all chunky 90k GBP + trades.More Morgan Stanley - interesting if a TR1 drops tomorrow Feb-25 15:09:21 9.20 1,000,000 Unknown* 92.00k O 24-Feb-25 15:09:08 9.00 1,000,000 Unknown* 90.00k O 24-Feb-25 11:43:03 9.60 1,000,000 Unknown* 96.00k O 24-Feb-25 15:10:03 9.20 1,000,000 Unknown* 92.00k |
Looks like a couple of confident rollovers |
Yep, nailed on. I hope it should start to move up. |
*now Zak Mir rather |
First Malcy and not Zak Mir ...Starting to make me feel very uncomfortable lol |
For balance the head and shoulders pattern is fairly perfect too. High volume on the left hand shoulder, slightly less on the head on very low on the right hand shoulder with a gap below too. Needs the price to move above the level of the head to break the pattern. Til then..

For context that was from Thursday 20th As Zak has stated, the fundamentals of the RSI treble and the golden cross along with Morgan S sniffling up shares, he predicts at least 16p and that was without any new purchases from MS.Could get interesting next week. |
And a nice 500k purchase at 9.5Morgan Stanley I wonder? |
Interesting article and chart analysis from Zak with the treble bounce off the RSI and the golden cross of the 50 and 200 dma. Initial target 11 and stated may even test 16p this month with the technicals, and that doesn't include Morgan S appetite to increase their stake.https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=gdWRENQBkME |
