There have been a number of positives recently which have improved the saleability of the company : Operating cash received, Concentrator circuit ordeted and despatched, Strike settled, Puno cash call issue decided, Puno wind-up action withdrawn, tolling agreements reached, new exploration (assessment) of Co owned prospect and significant drop in water level. All reasons to be cheerful and optimistic.

sounds very positive dont you think? what i cant understand is why the directors didnt do a fund raising around 0.4p before the suspension? if they knew things were stabilising...i cant see any notifications of lola or simon charles having bought shares?

You are of course most welcome to visit the site when you go to Jo’Burg later this year. Please send Lola your proposed visit date so they can ensure there is an appropriate person on site to show you around. You’ll need a safety briefing and protective clothing which the company shall lend for the purpose (hard hat and boots and eye protectors) and obviously, subject to the law, you would visit at your own risk. The company would not disclose any material financial or operational data which is not at that time in the market via a regulatory announcement but you would get the chance to see the operations and how management has stabilised them. The concentrator circuit’s assembly or testing prior to go-live should be well underway by then as well.

I mentioned that $150 m was a bit cheap and since then i posted an article that to start up a decent mine it would take $300 m and a time frame of 16 years not with standing we hvae the possibily to access 36m of gold . Now with the biggest problems solved and gold on the rise IMHO and the gold buying season is upon us I expect a substancial rise over the coming monthe.So what is the mine worth I,m hoping we have some good negociates

it doesnt need to dilute shareholders if they have a primary bid one like ascent did...anyway probably dont need a placing if good revenue coming in..i'm sure the banks will loan them abit now...this shouldnt be suspended anyway its hardly a basket case now

Application Abandonment

An application for the winding up of Central Rand Gold South Africa Proprietary Limited ("CRGSA"), a subsidiary of the Company, was brought by Puno Gold Investments Proprietary Limited ("Puno") in April 2015 ("the Application"). The board of directors of the Company considered the Application to be without merit and engaged legal advisors to defend the action, which was lodged in May 2015. To date, no further action pertaining to the Application has been undertaken by Puno.

The matter was finalised in July 2017, with Puno withdrawing the Application on the basis that each party pays its own costs. This proposal was accepted by CRGSA.

Operational Update

The operations at Central Rand Gold have achieved a steady-state in the past two months, from May 2017, with operations having stabilised. The Company shall announce in September, along with the interim report, specific details of the production figures from January to June 2017.

Various tolling arrangements are being considered in order to build in flexibility and to optimise the plant throughput.

The concentrator circuit, which has now been despatched from China and is expected to be on site in mid-August 2017, is anticipated to become operational in the last quarter of 2017.
