21/9/2009 10:37 | lol lol Are you on the wrong board fox?? | darklord2
21/9/2009 10:27 | Charts looking good today. | thearcticfox
21/9/2009 09:54 | True on the interest but the 4x extra profit will more than negate that.. | darklord2
21/9/2009 09:36 | True darklord, but you'll be 'out of the money' for a while and charged interest, plus I find the dealing costs high (though I never used CFDs for more than £10K at a time). | davius
21/9/2009 09:26 | Davius if you trade a CFD you dont pay stamp plus you can buy 4 times more for your money | darklord2
21/9/2009 09:16 | If you have DMA and can pick them up at 19.5p plus stamp duty, you can make about £4K on a 1m share buy (£200K) if you hold until you get 20p. Not exactly a huge return, but easy money, 2% in perhaps a month or so. | davius
21/9/2009 08:38 | Lol if the market expected a counter offer it would be trading higher that 19.50-19.75... this is done. MOVE ON | darklord2
21/9/2009 07:55 | people are still buying this, because this is the safest stock in the market. lol | lol short killer
21/9/2009 07:52 | I Can't believe people are still buying this - either been living under a stone - or want that .25p for profit!!! Anyway I believe no other offer will come now - though I would of - like many - loved a bidding war and to of got to 30p - MM | mutleymagic
21/9/2009 07:50 | Davius Good point. | dealy
21/9/2009 07:33 | so we're just waiting on the counter offer then .... things are not done here. | max101

21/9/2009 06:40 | Mr Bull.. MWA putting things in the right order to start production and profit give it a look.. 20 pence by month end...IMO... | ardluilord
21/9/2009 05:44 | Delay, Davius Many thanks J | josels
20/9/2009 21:56 | Not quite accurate dealy. There are a number reasons why the offer may not go ahead, mostly technical, such as a breach of existing agreements by any party, failure of ENRC to post the offer document on time, etc. Appendix 1, Section 2 lists some of these reasons, part (c) also says the offer will lapse if referred to the Competition Commission. | davius
20/9/2009 20:17 | They cannot cancel their offer unless shareholders don't approve (unlikely). It's like a trade you do with your broker - it's a binding agreement. 20p is the minimum unless shareholders reject it (unlikely). There is zero chance that we see an RNS next week saying ENRC have changed their mind. Their offer is as binding as a trade. | dealy
20/9/2009 20:03 | Question please, Cn ENCR walk away from its offer? Can they cancell the offer unilaterally? Do we have an insurance policy that at least we will have 20P?# I guess that currently we do not have that free insurance, but... I don't really know ie reason for asking Thanks | josels
20/9/2009 14:08 | Davius, when this deal completes, one would assume Groves and Edmunds will have more time to focus on their other companies! If your in it for the money like most, I'd expect anyone who made millions out of this deal, will plough some profits into AGTA,BAL, wouldnt you agree? I would. It makes sense if you have faith in the management, they sold African Platinum a few years a ago for 40pish to Impala, now Camec 20p to ENRC. Obviously they cant be totally stupid, and hopefully they've learned by their mistakes with Camec, ie issueing shares like toilet roll. I think its worth the risk for little money, AGTA 6p BAL 8p, I for one have confidence in them to produce the goods in the future, and will be buying a few when this deal completes, regardless of past mistakes, I'd expect many fund managers will do too!! worth a thought.. whats your opinion on Jarvis at present?? Why MWA Ard? | thebull3
20/9/2009 13:24 | China is Kazakstan's biggest foreign counterparty in the minerals business you can guarantee this has been discussed at a government level. I have working in the Russian / SE Asia natural resource sector for 10 years and will give anyone odds that China wont enter the bidding. | cocaine nights
20/9/2009 07:02 | as Met said earlier have a look at MWA | ardluilord
20/9/2009 00:02 | I was in Isoft 2 years ago and a new bidder came in after shareholders had even given formal approval. This forced the former bidder to raise its bid by about 25%. Board approval, even shareholder approval do not constitute the end of the battle. If somebody wants to put in a higher bid they can that over the next few weeks. I think it's unlikely but not impossible. | dealy
19/9/2009 22:27 | The story mentioned by BMN1 appears to have been written before the formal offer was tabled, so it appears inaccurate. | davius |
