12/8/2010 13:08 | Canaan investing in indian online and home shopping portal Could be a very nice fit with CAH, especially regarding getting the best rates for airtime | the analyst
12/8/2010 13:01 | All very quiet here, no posts for a week. | simonparker5
05/8/2010 12:28 | Just sat here, watching BLNX - I don't have a position there any more, but it's fun to watch! Hopefully, we will get that type of blast-off once the value of CAH begins to be realised | the analyst
05/8/2010 10:33 | Aye and they still want full offer and only 100k available. Edit. I'd say we have somebody accumulating, and this makes sense of the shake n vac approach of the MM's of late. | lyonst5
05/8/2010 10:25 | What looks like a 150K sales just gone through. There was a time when this would have collapsed the share price. Interesting that not one of the MMs have moved their price in response to this. | simonparker5
03/8/2010 12:19 | Hi MN, Most of the international subsidiaries are gone or no longer active, except CAH I agree these chaps are very clever. Your point on developing diverse revenue-streams is most-likely the reason they are exploring selling of part of their CAH stake to invest in the UK business I'd like to see the UK business sold-off completely and CAH reversed into this one (including management), then expanded into other Asian territories. I think if that happened we'd be looking at 20p per share straight away, maybe 40p soon after and potential for much more long term... | the analyst
03/8/2010 01:01 | Hi, Been away a while! Missed anything??? What do you guys make of the hardly mentioned non-adult broadcast [uk] assets? What are they? The Analyst, you used to have a list of all the international subsidiaries, what happened to it? The management are really smart, I wish they pursued their fuller potential, rather than the crutch of the adult biz that can ultimately only go so far in evolution. While there's some potential organic opportunities in the UK, and ultimately, the boards interests do seem to be aligned with other shareholders, it would be much more ambitious if Cah was to fold into cltv, and carrying on repeating the exercise with all other units - there are many Cellcast affiliates! This could potentially create an international networked footprint, just like mobile phone companies, able to offer cps across borders and multinationals/broad However, it would also benefit shareholders to bare in mind the evolution of participation tv across all developed markets, and it would be prudent to develop diverse revenue-streams while we can. Kind regards, MN | zoo1234
31/7/2010 15:31 | davydoo. I've just scanned the last set of Spmg results again and the mobile side of things seems to be a dying business now, all that matters to me with Spmg is debt reduction, not fussed on the profits, cash flow is all that matters and getting that debt back under 10 million will be a step in the right direction, remains very high risk. Sorry for O/T. | watchout2
31/7/2010 11:08 | interesting question bbw. Watchout2 ive seen you posting on the SPMG board, are you aware of any links between the two co's? | davydoo
31/7/2010 10:51 | By customers, does it mean the Telco companies that provide the numbers? I guess it's pretty obvious to even the casual observer that the company are reliant on the premium rate telco companies, so no big deal, imo | the analyst
30/7/2010 19:54 | So reading between the lines... maybe we could have one customer providing 60% of the revenue? Now I understand the carefully worded text... better than stating outright that the companies future depends on one customer, right? This information is materially important to any one considering an investment in Cellcast. I.M.H.O. | burgerbarwomen
30/7/2010 17:10 | bbw, they do state the word over 10% each, so they are factually correct. I agree, though, they could have said 15% each and that would have been a bit closer to the mark I suppose you could look at it in a rose-tinted way, too - if they add a couple more significant customers to bring in another £9m or so, then they are suddenly in a very very strong position! | the analyst
30/7/2010 16:54 | So is kiop going to have to reconfirm his holding? assuming the recent issuance will have lowered his percentage holding? | davydoo
30/7/2010 15:08 | Gits...total voting rights :-)) | watchout2
30/7/2010 14:39 | Revenues increased by 5.1% to £16.8 million, despite a difficult trading environment across the broadcast industry and 6. Segmental reporting The group has 3 significant customers, each generating over 10% of the group's television and broadcast revenue. The 3 customers contribute £4,493,289, £3,199,941 and £4,487,605 of the group's total revenue. -------------------- Who are these significant customers? In my world approx 4.5m, 3.2m, 4.5m... is a lot more than 30% of total group revenue! Is it me or have Cellcast made an error? Assuming an error has been made... are these customers under contract or on an 'as you go' basis? What effect would the loss of one of these significant customers have on the accounts? Pretty devastating surely? Comments appreciated. | burgerbarwomen
29/7/2010 11:21 | Topgun it needs to break through 6.5p first and close there before it can be confirmed. Need a bit more buying yet. | simonparker5
29/7/2010 10:48 | Bull run. New highs on the way. | topgunns
29/7/2010 09:08 | I see they where forced to hand over 50k at 6p. I placed a large buy order first thing to see if would rattle their cage, but the 50k did the trick. Could be a breakout to new highs if they would let it run. | lyonst5
29/7/2010 09:02 | Very short of stock again. 5.25p monitor bid but 5.7p real bid online, quite a difference | watchout2
